Brief Job Description :
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the engineer will work closely with the Project/Production Manager and will be responsible for preparations and execution of customers’ projects from Project Initiation to release to Operations including coordination, system assembly, testing, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company's strategy, commitments and goals. The engineer will work closely with the various teams to ensure successful implementation of the projects from contract award to system commissioning and delivery to our customers.
Duties
• Work with the Production Manager to ensure all deliverables within the projects, meet required quality levels, budgets and timescale
•System Assembly, Testing, Shipment, Warehouse and Stock Management
• Coordinate with various departments to resolve customers' queries.
• Provide remote support
• Attend to assignment according to requirement locally and overseas
• Carry out in house testing on new products
• Liaise with contractors and customers to ensure on time delivery of projects
• Attend Local or Overseas Site Survey
• Attend Local or Overseas Commissioning onboard vessels
• Prepare report according to Site Survey requirement and post commissioning
• Generate Bill of Material based on the order requirements.
Others:
Troubleshoot/ isolate faults and repair faults
Work on all other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Head - Operations from time to time
Knowledge/Skills/Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics or equivalent
Commissioning and shipyard experience preferred
