As a Procurement Trainee (Pathways Intern), you will:

• Serve as the liaison between the contractor, Contracting Officer and program area for assigned contracts. In addition, the incumbent will aid in facilitating communications between contractor management and the programs for routine communications;
• In coordination with the senior COR and Contracting Officer, discuss contract terms, conditions, and task order statements of work with program personnel;
• Draft statements of work, ensuring compliance with available DOJ-wide contract terms and conditions;
• Assist program personnel in the preparation of critical requirements documents;
• In coordination with program personnel, review contractor invoices to ensure that the goods and/or services billed for are appropriately accepted and processed for payment;
• Assist program personnel and the Contracting Officer in reviewing financial reports used by program staff and management;
• Assist the Contracting Officer and program personnel in working with funding agencies to establish, modify, and adjust as necessary Inter-Agency Agreement formats and content therein; and
• Assist Contracting Officers and ADM Finance in the assessment and monitoring of financial operations specific to assigned contracts.
