We are looking for a people-leader who thrives on working cross-functionally in a shipping and manufacturing environment.
Your focus would be ensuring total customer satisfaction and safe operations within the warehouse functions. · Assist in ensuring a safe work environment for all staff members and helping lead the safety program for the facility.

Required Experience-Education:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain or Business related field, in lieu of degree 7+ years warehouse experience with recent leadership role
· 3+ years operations or warehouse experience
· 1+ years leadership experience highly preferred
Required Competencies-Skills:
· Leadership, coaching, communication skills
· Inventory management experience
· Must be organized with the ability to plan and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to provide solutions and demonstrate innovative thinking with excellent problem solving/analytical skills.
· Excellent computer skills.
· JDE exposure highly preferred
This role is primarily first shift hours (7AM-4PM), but off shift hours may be required.

Job Summary:

Shipping responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Accurate picking, packing and shipment of various sized parts to support quick turnaround of parts ordered.
* Fill orders by removing the correct parts from the shelf, identifying part numbers and proper quantity.
* Determine method of shipment and packs accordingly.
* Count, weigh, measure or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.
* Operate forklift or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas.
* Comply with all quality standards and policies.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area - this includes cleaning / maintaining equipment and work areas, and performing safety inspections of areas.
Receiving responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Receives and unpacks merchandise and supplies and verifies accuracy of deliveries.
* Performs general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
* Confirms proper location of merchandise.
* Ensures production area organization and cleanliness.
* Stock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations.
* Operate forklift or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas.
* Comply with all quality standards and policies.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area - this includes cleaning / maintaining equipment and work areas, and performing safety inspections of areas.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
* Knowledge typically obtained with a high school or equivalent diploma.
* Must have dependable attendance and be a team player.
* Prior forklift certification or willing to become forklift certified.
* Basic computer skills helpful.
* Prior warehouse experience a plus!

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, balance and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp and move a variety of materials. Walkways are concrete and/or metal grating. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently. Employee may be exposed to high, precarious places. The warehouse environment can be hot (or cold) and dusty.

As part of our Purchasing Team, you'll be responsible for the below:
1. Issue purchase order to suppliers, perform goods receipt, goods return using ERP system ( Oracle Netsuite).
2. Source and negotiate with suppliers
3. Liaise with suppliers on leadtime and logistics arrangement
4.Assist to prepare work instructions and job process worksheets for production shop-floor.
5. Monitor quality, service and delivery issues, and take corrective action as required.
6. Monitor in-house inventory movement and planning of material for production use and trading
7. Manage and response to enquiries from sales department efficiently
8. Prepare monthly stock review based on firm orders and forecast data.
9. Prepare for Tender involving prepare bill of quantities and tender documents.
What we are looking for:
1. Minimum 2 years of working experience in procurement/quantity surveyoring
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word
3. Experience in using ERP system
4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
