• To be a partner to Commercial Group, providing support to them on revenue & financial related matters, including review of revenue contracts.
• Responsible for month end closing activities on revenue recognition.
• Responsible for driving and annual cost center budgeting process together with the Business Unit head and Finance Controller.
• Responsible for the financial analysis & review on Commercial Group cost center expenses.
• Provide financial related advice and support financial modelling for business initiatives and projects.
• Support Finance Head to lead change management on changes in corporate policies and procedures/or accounting standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 6 years' relevant experience
• Degree in accountancy or equivalent
• Possess excellent Microsoft Excel modelling skills, and proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
• Proven ability to establish good working relationships with key decision makers, and able to work with staff at all levels
• Excellent time management, communication, presentation & organizational skills.
• Mature personality and able to work well in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment
• Able to operate independently, as well as a good team player
• Possess good analytical and strong writing skills

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analysis on oil and gas / chemical (OGC) samples using prescribe standard laboratory test method, techniques and instruments.
• Interpret and report test results accurately and timely based on test method. Maintain detailed records of all analysis performed.
• Complete all laboratory reports as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Understand and keep updated with all laboratory safety, reporting techniques and analysis methods.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Science / Chemistry or related field.
• Equivalent work experience in OGC industry or a laboratory environment.
• Ability to understand ASTM standards and procedures.
• Must be able to work with all chemicals, petrochemical, and petroleum products.
• Must be able to differentiate colors accurately by sight.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, while directing numerous projects concurrently with different deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• High level of accuracy is required, with special attention to details.
• Able to multi-task.
• Must have positive attitude and good teamwork.
• Ability to adapt to Good Lab Practice.
