JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or any related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and CAD programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking to appoint a Water & Wastewater Engineer in our Brisbane office.  You will report directly into the Water & Wastewater Lead and have the backing of a team of over 260 experts nationally. You will be tasked with leading a project delivery team in a bid to achieve client commitments and build client advocacy and confidence.

Specifically:

• Manage major water & wastewater projects, including project planning and coordination through initial inception to detailed design and construction phases
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Taking a leading role as a technical advisor for the team
• Collaboration with other teams and offices to ensure integrated design approach
• Provide specialist technical input to feasibility studies and conceptual designs
• Undertake construction cost estimates for budgeting and funding purposes
• Prepare written reports and make technical presentations to clients and other internal/external stakeholders
• Oversee the planning and design of various project elements, preparation of reports, hydraulic models, design calculations, technical drawings, construction plans and specifications
