Job/Group Overview:
The Group Infrastructure Services (GIS) department is responsible for the implementation, deployment and support of technology infrastructure services including private and public cloud, desktops, messaging and collaboration tools, voice communications, mobile, multimedia, data centers and networks across Nomura Group companies.
Within GIS, the Workspace Services team is looking for a Collaboration and Messaging Services technical support engineer who will provide Asia-wide coverage of a rich product set on behalf of our internal client base of over 25,000 people.
Reporting to the Singapore-based VP in charge of Collaboration and Messaging Services, this role includes detailed planning and execution of new product deployments, version upgrades, security enhancements and the decommission of obsolete components. There will also be day to day support responsibilities in the event of service interrupting incidents or end user requests requiring human intervention. The global Collaboration and Messaging team employs a follow-the-sun coverage model, and team members share on-call and weekend support responsibilities on a rotating basis to cater individual work/life balance.

Responsibilities:

Covering a product set used by everyone across the organization, project demands and support “hot spots” will continuously evolve and the responsibilities of this role will adapt accordingly. Examples of tasks performed by this team include:

• Provide direct support to a large internal user base on a variety of communication channels
• Support infrastructure components of Microsoft Exchange email (on-premise and Online/cloud-based), MobileIron, RightFax, Microsoft Teams, Veritas Enterprise Vault archiving, Proofpoint SMTP Infra, and more
• Manage related server and appliance infrastructure of the above products

Requirement :

Mandatory Skills:

• 5 to 8 years in collaboration and messaging related roles in a global organisation
• Confident supporting global platforms across multiple geographies and time zones

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

· Min 3 years of relevant experience

· Proficiency in IT Technologies and data handling

· Prior experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus, but not required

· Experience in Information Management position in Oil & Gas field EPC Contractor

· Background of either Mechanical, Piping, Electrical or Instrument Engineer experience in EPC contractor would be a big plus

· Background of Mechanical Completion & Commissioning Coordinator, CMMS Engineer or Application Engineer (AVEVA)

· Good understanding of systems and software related to EPCI and O&M (e.g. AVEVA, SAP, EDMS, Completion, CMMS)

Role & Responsibility

• Work with Sales to develop Signage & LED (technical business development)
• Provide technical support/Installation support and resolve field issues with Signage and LED
• Develop and Provide Turnkey business solution proposal by identifying requirements and work scope, designing display structure, AV system,
• and other relevant solutions, arranging DEMO or PoC, providing technical writings of system drawings, and product training
• Engage with all stakeholders like clients, designers, architects, installers, and etc. to answer technical inquiries and to resolve technical issues
• Develop Regional SIs and Partners who can provide design, structure, installation, and maintenance/services
• Project Management from product check-up to installation, trial run, inspection (quality control), hand-over, risk management, and report
• Provide Signage and LED product training session to sales people and eco-partners
• Panning training and tech seminar

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in LED Signage or related industries
• Deep relationships in LED, Digital Signage and Pro AV Eco partners
• Skilled in written and oral communication, using Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with direct supervision and other departments
• Ability to provide technical consulting (Solution consulting, design consulting , electric work-related consulting)
• No issues for other countries travel
