Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic hardware for IoT products across a wide range of industries.
• Utilize ECAD tools to design electronic hardware Schematic and PCB layout.
• Follow industry-standard best practices for Signal Integrity, Power Integrity and EMI mitigation.
• Take detail measurements of hardware using electrical measurement tool including but not limited to multi-meters, oscilloscopes and power analysers to assess circuit performance and design improvements.

Responsibilities

• Overall project management which includes but not limited to planning, implementation, execution and completion of sections of project to ensure successful completion of the project.
• Coordination of multi-disciplinary works within a project including handling project planning, budget and cost control, safety and quality system implementation.
• Provide feedback / presentation regarding project progress to senior management.
• Focus on the successful delivery of the project and manage all aspects of the construction programme
• Follow up with relevant authorities and consultants on approval of land matters, proposed layout, building plan, design proposals, tender documentation etc

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and development of mechanical parts include plastic injection molding tray, machining pallet, jig, fixture for SSD drive manufacturing, including conceptualization, prototyping, testing, and implementation.

- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment for better performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to integrate new technologies and methodologies into the manufacturing process.

- Conduct thorough risk assessments for equipment designs and processes, implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

- Manage equipment development projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and SSD manufacturing technology, incorporating innovative solutions into our operations.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this position, the individual will be responsible for fully supporting the Department Manager on the development of the Company goals, strategy and tactics. The most important being the ability to work with the team to assure the good execution. The individual will work with the team to fully support the company and department goals.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Describe the specific roles and responsibilities of the position)

• Documentation: SOP, WI, FMEA, OCAP and Control Plan for related process.
• Ensure effective hand shaking process of new device/product introduction to the line and new process technology capabilities developments.
• Support Automation and development for new automatic and robotic equipment qualification and sustaining.
• Support the Production Line. Report online machine status and issue to reporting manager
• Follow daily/shiftly line issue and production support for automation equipment.
• Continuous improvement on direct/indirect material cost down, UPH, MTBA, and MTBF enhancement program.
• Ensure automation equipment in good performance to meet the goals on quality, yield, and cost, utilization and cycle time.
• Perform automation equipment conversion and set up. Observe 6S on daily job to ensure the continued and smooth production line.
• Able to conduct trainings to Operator/technicians on machine operation and skill improvement.
• Able to replace spare parts and machine buy off.

Job Scope

2.1 Work with system engineer to provide mechanical solution/improvement in new/existing product

• Align with system engineer the SRS, especially the SRS for mechanical components/subsystem
• Derive mechanical design concepts from requirement, evaluate alternative solutions, and document design decisions
• Optimize mechanical design considering component manufacturing process and tool assembly process

2.2 Evaluate, verify and improve design risks and failures related to mechanical domain via FEMA, risk assessment, PSS, DFMA, etc.

• Familiar with product safety and legal requirement, especially mechanical domain related, document the assessment to prove the fulfilment
• Drive the design iteration loop for mechanical domain, i.e. design, prototyping, verification  

2.3 Create and maintain drawings (2D & 3D) with CAD system, part lists (BOM), Technical document (PQA, tol.stack, etc)

• Define PQA, especially the special characteristic acc. to function requirement and tolerance calculation
• Set up 3D&2D and BOM data correctly into related system, follow up and release the mechanical components in SAP

2.4 Prepare functional cost analysis for products.
