Job Scope:

• Conduct inspections of buildings, structures, and facilities to assess fire hazards and ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations.
• Familiar with ASD-Automatic Smoke detection- are devices designed to sense smoke and trigger alarms to alert occupants of the building to the presence of fire or smoke.
• Provide recommendations for fire-resistant materials, building layouts, and evacuation routes.
• Conducting fire drills, training staff on the use of fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment, and providing guidance on emergency evacuation procedures.
  
  Requirement:
• Min 5 years experience in related field
• Can speak and write both in English and Mandarin
• Have Data Centre experience is Advantage

About the Role:

• Lead a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors in performing all the plant inspection and modification works to ensure work are carried out timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant operations.
• Manage and lead the plant painting program to ensure the integrity of plant facility.
• Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant modifications works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
• Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
• Implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS651.

Reporting to the Manager, you are responsible for the smooth operation of the Hospital’s maintenance functions and ensure compliance with all safety, health and environment standards. You will oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance programmes of the in-house contractor as well as developing appropriate and effective action plans to improve maintenance standards and procedures. In addition, you will ensure that the Service Level Agreement terms with the contractors are met, also managing the Repair and Replacement (R&R) projects by coordinating with the vendor on the equipment requirements, working with consultants and the in-house contractor to ensure the successful implementation of the R&R projects.

In addition, you will be expected to participate in department audits, reviewing of contract documents and Hospital initiative committees such as Green, Infection control, BCP, Risk Management etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years’ related work experience; or
• Able to organise, prioritise and schedule work assignments independently and effectively.
• Proven track record of good project management skill will be an advantage.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job description:

• Basic and detailed design of control system architecture, PLC, DCS and RIO systems, PLC and SCADA programming software etc.
• Design sizing, calculation and selection for instruments, analyzers, control system hardware, instrument and control cable, etc. to support proposals team and projects team.
• Preparation of project documents including technical proposal, design basis, instrument list, IO list, instrument and control table schedule, cable routing, control room layout, hook up drawings, instrument location layout, control panel layout, loop diagrams, Functional Design Specifications, IOM manual, etc.
• Preparing specifications and datasheet for RFQ and review offers from vendors for compliance o technical specification, compliance with codes and regulations including ATEX.
• Prepare documentation for submission and supporting project team on plan start-up, performance test, optimization and hand-over.

Job requirements:

• Degree in Electronic or Automation or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 2 years working experience in process plants or in water/wastewater industry, with good knowledge in automation design of water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Entry level candidates with a passion for design work in the water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Familiarity with project design software such as AutoCAD, Bentley, Navisworks is advantageous.
