• The Chief Engineer, as the head of the Engine Department, shall assist the Master and control shipboard operations under the jurisdiction of the Engine Department under the direction of the Master. He shall be responsible for the following duties:

(1) The drawing up plans of operation, care and maintenance of machinery.

(2) Appraisal of the condition of machinery as a whole including deck auxiliary machine.

Instructions to the subordinates for effective operation of machinery.

(3) The preparation and safe keeping of oil record book.

(4) The replacement, effective management and control of fuel oil and lubricating oil.

(5) The preparation and safe keeping of Engine Abstract Logbook.

(6) The preparation, attendance and checking of various inspections, and the safe

keeping of relevant certificates.

(7) The assessment and approval of maintenance schemes of the Engine Department.

(8) The control of the spares and ship’s stores of the Engine Department.

(9) The control of dangerous articles under the jurisdiction of the Engine Department.

(10) The disposal and control of the engine room bilge and waste oil.

(11) The labour management and evaluation of the Engineers and crew of Engine

Department.

(12) The Maintenance and safe keeping of drawings and logbooks under the jurisdiction of the Engine Department.

(13) The measures taken against the stowaways.

(14) Other matters instructed by the Master

Your role in the team

Shore-based, you will technically manage and support the LNG FSRU Newbuilding team, propose technically reliable and efficient condition so to be compliant with statutory and class requirements, applicable rules and standards set by the industry and the client.

Your responsibilities and tasks include:

· Provide technical assistance to the LNG FSRU Newbuilding team

· Overall project management

· Design review

· Site supervision in newbuilding shipyard

· FAT attendance

· Support Installation and Commissioning in LNG FSRU

· Ensure future asset will be operated in line with industry requirementsand technical standards set by the company and owner.

· Promote the safe and efficient operation of assets by checking that procedures are implemented as per the SMS.

Your profile

· Licensed Chief Engineer

· 5+ years experience as Chief Engineer on LNG FSRU

· Experience as Technical Superintendent for LNG FSRU will be an asset

· Experience in large ship conversion projects, Newbuilding & plans approval required

· Fair knowledge of industrial automation systems

· You are able to manage technical projects with the team

· You are able to look for the safest and most cost efficient/effective solution during emergencies also making sure all stakeholders understand the issue and solution

· You are able to analyse and anticipate for technical problems taking into account the information from different stakeholders

· You are flexible to travel overseas & able to relocate for a long period

· Extensive knowledge of project management and complex installations

· Extensive knowledge of the oil & gas industry

· Fluent in written and spoken English

Responsibilities:

• Managing private cloud system as a project manager, which includes system requirement definition, cost estimation, trouble shooting, vendors/ resources/ schedules control, and reporting to various stakeholders.
• Coordinating internal stakholders and vendors to maintain stable system operation.
• Review document / deliverables submit from vendors.
• Propose enhancement projects and new product for the company to improve the infrastructure’s stability and efficiency.
• Strictly Comply with policy and procedures including in-house System Development Rules.
• May require managing projects related to application software.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 year experience in the IT infrastructure/ hardware field including 2 year experience in project management. It is preferable to have experience in the Banking industry.
• Experienced in virtualization software such as VMWare is must
• Knowledge and experience in operational product such as vROps, JP1, Solarwinds, Arcserve, Splunk.
• Coordination skills to handle various parties, such as both local and international clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Experienced network administration.

Sitting within Data & Technology Architecture department, ICT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible:

· Implement projects within their emplaced practice to ensure service delivery and support to meet the intended availability, continuity, and capacity requirements.

· Translate business requirement into infrastructure design.

· Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy, and configure infrastructure to meet resiliency, availability and data integrity needs.

· Ensure compliance to Company's Technical Architecture and SG-TRM, as well as IM8 and IT Policies

· Manage Infrastructure projects and services to support application systems environments.

· Request to provision new VMs for new systems

· Manage system architecture, resource planning, infrastructure performance and system hosting environment from server hardware till OS layer (Excluding hypervisor and Storage) in support of new applications.

· Main infrastructure single-point-of contact for all new application system initiatives and to support/assist in application architecture design, integration and acceptance and infrastructure performance testing

· Handover Infrastructure and Systems standard operating procedures and day-to-day performance/availability monitoring to Operations Engineer upon commissioning and completion of PGP

· Support Operations Engineer on Infrastructure and Systems

· Assist in Infrastructure Architecture review, support and endorsement Review Hardening standards for OS, database.

· Hosting environment infrastructure on-boarding (design, setup, configuration, implementation, testing and commissioning of infrastructure components)

· Understand systems operations environment is expected.
