Job Purpose

Checking quality requirements across the Wrights Food Group, ensuring that product is manufacture in line with Factory Product
Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

Main Duties

* Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors, across all facilities, by strict enforcement of
WFG Health and Safety ( H&S ) Policy and by developing a proactive culture to reducing accidents .
* Ensure products are checked against the weight and dimension specifications and report any out of spec issues.
* Taking environmental swabs, air plates, water testing and collecting products, to register and send for micro testing
* Monitor hygiene standards throughout the factory and reporting any issues so that cleaning can be arranged of machinery and /
or areas.
* Carrying out Glass, Plastic, Brittle Plastic, Ceramics and GMP Audit Checks and completing a nonconformance and / or
Engineering Job sheet, where required.
* Working with the New Product Development, assisting in Factory Trials with carrying out weights and taking photos where
required.
* Ensure we are working with up-to-date factory online and packaging specifications.
* Carry out internal audits to the required schedules, ensure all factory paperwork is fully audited and checked before filing
away.
* Where any issues are raised, complete a nonconformance and / or Engineering Job sheet, where required.
* Ensure daily taste panels are collected and carried out.
* Manual temperature checks on all chillers and freezers throughout the factory.
* Ensure internal calibrations are carried out on a daily and weekly basis and report any issues.



Skills and Competencies

* Experienced QA Operative with knowledge of meeting customer product quality. expectations and site accreditation standards.
* Knowledge of Quality Assurance / Food Safety systems.
* Sound numerical and negotiation skills.
* Good level of IT skills (e.g., Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
* Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in conducting KYC and transaction monitoring reviews for new and existing clients. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Transaction (KYT), and Know Your Customer (KYC) in the crypto industry.
• Identify and conduct investigations on suspicious activity and transactions.
• Stay updated on crypto-related regulations, including but not limited to Payment Services Act (“PSA”), Digital Payment Token (“DPT”) license requirements, and Markets in Crypto-Assets (“MiCA”) regulations in Europe. Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes on business activities.
• Support daily operations of the compliance function. Work closely with the compliance team to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Assist in monitoring the performance of regulatory compliance and Governance, Risk, Compliance (“GRC”) programs. Participate in risk assessments and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with established policies.
• Assist in responding to internal and external audits. Address queries from regulators and contribute to maintaining a state of audit readiness.
• Collaborate with senior team members to review and revise compliance manuals and GRC policies and procedures. Ensure timely updates to align with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with legal counsel to support the development of policies and procedures. Collaborate with various departments to convey compliance-related information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement compliance programs and initiatives.
• Conduct relevant training sessions to employees on compliance- related topics.

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years of experience in compliance within the financial services, banking, or crypto industry. Familiarity with AML/KYT/KYC/KYB practices in the crypto space.
• Basic understanding of regulatory requirements related to AML, KYT, KYC and KYB. Awareness of cryptocurrency regulations is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex matters in a simple and concise manner.
• CAMS or equivalent compliance certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamic regulatory environment in the crypto industry.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall compliance objectives.

Job Summary

In CAE Defense & Security (D&S), Canada, the Manager Quality Assurance, Environment and Health and Safety (QEHS) is responsible for planning and ensuring the QEHS-Management System (MS) meets the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements; managing the Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Policy and Objectives; implementing and maintaining all processes needed for the QEHS-MS; and maintaining the integrity of the QEHS-MS, when changes are made. As a result, the incumbent is an adept leader with people management skills coupled with strong business acumen and communication skills. The incumbent will have direct responsibilities for a team involved in these activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and ensure the QEHS-Management System (MS) meets the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements

• Ensure that Quality Policy and Quality Objectives, and the EHS policies are communicated and met

• Ensure that all processes needed for the QEHS-MS are implemented, evaluated, maintained, reported on and all applicable personnel trained

• Ensure that all process metrics and those required at the Corporate, D&S, and D&S Canada level are tracked and reported on

• Represent management on all Quality and EHS issues with internal and external customers, with the responsibility to resolve them

• Report to senior management on QEHS-MS effectiveness and any needed improvements

• Conduct site visits on a regular basis, providing guidance, coaching and support to EH&S team members and site management.

• Coordinate actions to improve the environmental footprint and supports carbon emissions reduction and climate change mitigation measures.

• Continuously reviews risk and hazard identification process and risk analysis. Assist management teams in developing ways to mitigate or avoid adverse risks. 

Requirements

• Relevant University or College degree. post Graduate Degree (desirable) in technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 10 year experience in a quality related environment with a minimum of ten years of industry related experience, including a minimum of five years management experience formally coordinating the activity of others

• Accredited Quality Assurance / Auditor course completion diplomas

• Knowledge of Quality Management Standards (ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc)

• Ability to work with and lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with remote groups

• Ability to work across different organizational levels

• Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentations to different organizational levels

• Experience as a Quality and/or EHS Manager in a similar environment or industry is preferable

• Previous experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives

• Good knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Power Point, Excel and Word (Office)

• Software development and/or Systems Engineering related background and experience is a must

• Excellent problem-solving ability as well as long and short term strategic planning skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French is an asset

Exigences

• Diplôme universitaire ou collégial pertinent. Diplôme d’études supérieures (souhaitable) dans un domaine technique ou une combinaison équivalente d’études et d’expérience.

• Dix ans d’expérience dans un environnement lié à la qualité avec un minimum de dix ans d’expérience dans l’industrie, y compris un minimum de cinq ans d’expérience en gestion dans la coordination officielle des activités d’autres personnes.

• Diplômes attestant l’achèvement de cours accrédités en assurance qualité ou en vérification de la qualité.

• Connaissance des normes de gestion de la qualité (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).

• Capacité à travailler avec des équipes multidisciplinaires et à les diriger ainsi qu’à collaborer avec des groupes éloignés.

• Capacité à travailler à différents niveaux de l’organisation.
