What you will do:

• Administers property accountability for the directorate, and/or serves as the Property Accountability Officer.
• Oversees the work assignments of others providing training and technical guidance as needed.

• Performs research and analysis relating to the civilian workforce for organizational matters and policy to include manpower, training, and education initiative.
• Advise and assist the DLA Energy Commander and subordinate organizations with centralized workforce analysis, performance, development, planning, and strategic support.
• Serves as the focal point for Energy for all civilian personnel actions.
• Researches and develops policies and position papers to provide management with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of agency operations and management.
• Establishes criteria to measure the attainment of program goals and objectives, develops related administrative guidance, and disseminates program guidance.
• Participates in organization studies that result in recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness of organization structures and business processes.
• Performs research and conducts a variety of management studies related to organizational and personnel programs.
• Provides advice and assistance, recommends approaches to best accomplish training; and coordinates and arranges for delivery of training, workshops, and seminars.

• Serves as an expert analyst responsible for providing technical and management support for major products and suspense (next bullet)
• as well as primary support of the Facilities and Equipment (DM-I) and Environment (EIandE) Program Objective Memorandum (POM) to the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Sustainment) [ASD(S)] and associated Deputy Assistant Secretaries.
• Works to support and train the entire G5-I staff on the Task Management Tool application. Provides day to day support and management of task as well as providing group and desk-side training to all users and senior level staff.
• Complete and review reports, analyze trends, timeliness of processing actions, status of actions and identify discrepancies or deficiencies.
• Provides advice and assistance on management techniques and methods for monitoring and controlling, evaluating, and improving G5-I operations.
• Provides analyses on G5-I's structure and makes recommendations for reorganization based upon best practices. Develops and revises G5-I's policies, instructions, directives, and procedures as they relate to optimization within the Enterprise.

• Participates with management in the development of a strategic vision for annual goals and long range plans of operations throughout all organizational units.
• Analyzes and evaluates on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
• Utilizes and develops spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, etc. using statistical data and related material for the purpose of explaining complex situations and relationships.
• Coordinates a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to information technology management, oversight activities, civil rights data collection, travel arrangements, and other duties as assigned.
