As an Assistant Maintenance Engineer, your responsibility is to:
- Perform corrective and scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment to achieve the best possible equipment reliability, yield, and throughput.
- Perform corrective maintenance to ensure the equipment is operated within specification.
- Perform calibration in adherence to documented working procedures and in a timely manner.
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of equipment upgrading and improvement programs.
- Perform equipment installation of new and transfer equipment in adherence to schedule, quality, safety and ecology specification.
- Setup and qualification on new and transfer equipment according to procedures
- Support the test/product engineer on engineering activities and provide engineering advice to production.
- Implement equipment improvement and reliability program.
- Carry out action plans to reduce the cost of equipment maintenance activities.
You are suitable for this role if you are/ have:
- Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience in prober or automatic tester equipment maintenance will be preferred.
- Good team player with self-initiatives and proactiveness
- Good communication and written skills
- Willing and capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift
