JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Executive - Business Development holds a diverse set of responsibilities encompassing business development, key account management, marketing, and sales, covering both comprehensive and specialized logistics services. This role involves tasks such as market research, prospecting, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Additionally, they play a crucial role in evaluating customer requirements and aiding in solution implementation. Furthermore, this position entails collecting input from internal and external stakeholders, strategizing and executing logistics projects, collaborating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring adherence to project specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
· Assess market demands and opportunities within specified verticals.
· Analyze customer needs to identify prevailing trends, market dynamics, and shifts.
· Create sales proposals and tender documents.
· Produce preliminary sketches, visualizations, and mock-ups for design development.
· Conduct basic risk assessments.
· Apply operational policies, standards, and procedures.
· Provide administrative support for project management processes.
· Resolve conflicts in customer relationship management.
· Analyze customer information and requirements to enhance client relationships.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional qualifications) in Logistics/Supply Chain, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in sales and business development.
· Diploma (with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience) in a Logistics/Supply Chain-related discipline
· 2 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
