As a result of internal promotion within the team, there is an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Health Officer or Regulatory Services Officer/Food Safety Officer to join our team, working in a very challenging yet beautiful part of Scotland. Working from the Helensburgh office, you will undertake the wide range of environmental health enforcement, including public health and food safety. There will be a requirement to manage your own district workload, whilst ensuring and protecting public health. We will provide you with varied workload in all areas of environmental health, flexible and hybrid working arrangements, a relocation package (where appropriate) and a salary of £40,914 to £44,272)

The successful candidate will be working off-site at our Leeds Pharmaceutical Stores location on the outskirts of the city. The post holder will work within the Pharmacy Procurement team to process payment of invoices for all medicines purchased for the Trust, and will work alongside the customer services team to provide a service to all internal and external customers. Job Description

To provide a statutory Social Work Service in accordance with the provisions of relevant legislation and national and local guidelines. As well as to provide statutory mental health responsibilities this includes supplying links for the service to the community mental health team.

To assume case management responsibilities specific to the Service, carrying out assessment of service users needs and risks, where necessary using accredited risk assessment tools. To assume the role of the key worker within C.P.A. programme.

To follow Service procedures, delivering direct interventions to individuals and small groups as part of a programme of interventions. The role will also involve participating in structured consultation and supervision sessions as required, and representing the Social Work Service in multi-disciplinary forums. This will all be in accordance with the Council or hosted stake holders arrangements, through a Service Level Agreement or Partnership agreement. To add to the development of the Mental Health Officer service across the HSCP and to undertake slots on the MHO rota in line with agreed working hours.

About the Opportunity 
As the Health Placement Support Hub - Placements Officer, you will work within the Health Placement Hub and closely with the Health Schools including Placement Officer, Academic leads, and Professional / Industry partners. 

The Hub Placement Officer is responsible for undertaking a broad range of operational activities in support of student placements with reference to compliance requirements as set by the Health Sector and the Griffith University Local Health Protocol. They will work in partnership with the Health Schools in dedicated program/s and/or discipline/s. This role is a key contact for students, industry partners and staff requiring advice in relation to student placements. This position may be required to supervise administration staff supporting placement activities.   

As the Health Placement Support Hub - Placements Officer, you will: 

• In conjunction with relevant stakeholders, provide administrative support and accountability for placements (domestic and international) including management of “Fit for Professional Practice” documentation for the lifecycle of the student, providing support into the Health Schools and placement programs. 
• Lead and promote compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including vaccinations and health tests, licenses and certificates, online training on topics such as health and safety, inclusion, and use of personalised protective equipment (PPE) and forms. 
• Carry out the administration and utilisation of dedicated education or placements software including monitoring student pre-placement requirements, maintaining FFPP status throughout the student lifecycle and reporting as required.  
• Engage in system improvement and innovation activities to improve efficiency of Health Placement Support Hub and the student experience. 
• Assist the Health Placement Support Hub Manager in the recruitment of placements for individual and reoccurring placement arrangements. This includes contacting new placement partners or maintaining established placement provider relationships. 
• Coordinate the establishment and administration of placement deeds with a range of providers as required. 
• Undertake a range of placements-based operational activities including maintenance of databases and records, orientation materials, room bookings, evaluations, assessment records, management of finances, scheduling and the preparation of placements-based correspondence as required. 
• Effectively collaborate and communicate with a broad range of discipline based stakeholders including School based placement officers, academic and professional, student groups and other areas of the University. 
• Be a leading example of the principles and values embodied in the University’s Code of Conduct, and behave, act and communicate at all times to reflect fairness, ethics and professionalism. 

This is a full time, continuing position based at the Gold Coast  campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Salary range 
The full-time equivalent base salary for HEW Level 5 position is in the range of $76,236 - $85,525 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range of $89,197 - $100,064 per annum.
