Job Description

• Project based costing:
• Maintain active list of projects
• Manage revenue and expenditure for each project
• Ensure project budgets align with external cost sheets
• Update system with approved overhead costs
• Investigate potential over/under budget items
• Address open purchase orders for completed projects
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project inquiries
• Month-end closing:Prepare journal entries related to projects
  Adjust and reclassify accounts as needed (e.g., timeclocking)
  Handle internal transfers and rental charges
  Ship inventory to work-in-progress for cost capture
  
• Annual Audit:Attend to auditors' queries
  

The Successful Applicant

• GCE O Levels, or Diploma in relevant field
• Proven experience in Costing function, proficient in accounting entries and treatment in a stable career track record will be beneficial
• Proficient in MS office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) and computer savvy
• Proactive, Analytical and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Good written and communication skills
• Use of Epicor systems will be beneficial but not a must

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to work for our prestigious client based at RAF Coningsby on a 6 month initial contract. The roles is paying £17.21ph PAYE / £22.37ph umbrella.

WORKING HOURS – ON BASE - 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Thurs, 7.30am – 12pm Fri). - Hours required to work per week are 37.00 unless otherwise stated (this does not include lunch breaks). - Start and finish times to be agreed with local Line Management, in accordance with local site core hours. - Lunch break allowance is 30 minutes between 12.30 – 1:00pm (or as agreed with Line Manager). 30 mins will automatically be deducted each working day by the electronic time management system. - Dependant on workload, local management may request more or less hours are worked within this contract.

Core Duties of the Business Support Officer:

Providing a proactive and comprehensive Business Support Service to all TTF Staff, Students and Visitors, including but not limited to:

o Access control to Building 507 & the non-restricted areas of Building 643.

o Collect and distribute the mail on a daily basis.

o Maintain an MOD standard filing system.

o Issue and control of Building 507 keys.

o Process Staff Arrivals and Clearances.

o Arrange Station Photographers for course photos.

o Monitor stationery stock, general office supplies and compile monthly stationery orders.

o Visitor briefs.

o Course bookings.

o JPA awards.

o Update FlightPro currencies for all TyTAN personnel.
