What you will do

The Inventory & Web Solutions Specialist is responsible for implementation, retention, and training of all Inventory related products. These products are defined as AutoGate Pro, LiveMarket, Appraisal Solutions, Test Drive, Inventory Distribution, Two Way Lead Distribution, Web Services, Dealer Drive any other future product rolled into the Inventory Solutions Team.

Working with the Inventory Solutions Manager, the strategy applied should result from you having a clear understanding of internal/external objectives, and you are thereby able to execute on the strategy that supports our customers, our field team, and delivers focus on the designated products for the business. This should underpin revenue growth, client retention, ROI, product penetration and collaboration with all key stakeholders.

You will be required to draw meaningful insights from analysis and make recommendations based upon your knowledge of the company, industry, and sales objectives. The ability to discover target areas that help drive the operational and revenue strategies are key facets of the role. 

• Deliver a strategic sales plan to achieve business growth objectives, drive profit and champion customer experience.
• Identify new and existing business opportunities to increase the growth of the Business Unit, promoting strong client acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
• Identify further opportunities using data driven market analysis, and feedback from our customers.
• Use a multi-channel sales framework across the business operations with a focus on a high-performance culture.
• Maintain an up to date understanding of competitor knowledge, contemporary practices and market opportunities.
• Be an integral part of the Dealer Team and collaborate with other teams to achieve the business unit financial goals.

The Inventory Controller is responsible for assisting and supporting warehouse operations. You will work within a multi-functional team assisting with stock for the production lines, the efficient distribution of the goods/supply chain processes: receiving, quality checks, stocking shelves, packing, wrapping, sort and timely distribution to meet customer requirements, and maintain secure and safe working practices. Also, responsible for UK shipments.

The key duties will include:

- SAP - Goods in, transfers, cycle counting, replenishment

- Goods in checks - verify paperwork against goods

- BFLN (Back Flush Line) count and checks

- Checking of finished goods area and process goods transfers in SAP

- Feeding fast moving production lines efficiently, following instructions, processes and guidelines in place

- Cover for Warehouse Supervisor

- Operating a variety of manual handling equipment

- Manage and deliver continuous improvement of processes and IT. systems in line with the European business strategy and Key Performance Indicators.

About you:

Previous experience in a Production / Manufacture / Factory environment. Strong attention to detail.Team-player, willing to respond professionally, enthusiastically, and positively to all requests. Self -motivated and positive attitude. Common sense and the ability to use your initiative without regular prompting is important. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. The ability to work without direct supervision. A good level of Maths and English is important. Must be discrete and able to always maintain confidentiality. You must hold a current driver's licence and have access to a vehicle due to office rural location.

Full Time: 40 hrs per week, 8:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday with 1hr lunch break (unpaid).

We now have an exciting opening for aTrainee Commodity Buyer to join our expanding team, based at our office inIpswich.

The company markets and distributes to a growing customer-base in the food, feed, and bioenergy sectors at home and abroad. This is great opportunity for a Trainee Commodity Buyer who has previous relationship/account management experience who wants to build upon their skills with exposure to a new industry. The ideal Trainee Commodity Buyer will spend their first few months in a rotation through the business to gain foundation knowledge of how the different departments work and fit into the business overall. You will then join the Farm Trading Team and will be mentored and coached as you learn and develop into the role.

Key responsibilities of the Trainee Commodity Buyer

- Purchasing grain, pulses and oilseeds from farms and selling seed fertiliser and other crop products.

- Working with the rest of the team to identify prospective customers, promote the benefit of trading with COFCO UK, and open new accounts.

- Ensure that accounts are paid within terms agreed, and customer credit is controlled.

- Undertake on farm grain sampling and assist with the overall organisation of this.

- Assist the Team by handling queries, data entry including contracts and information to support the CRM system.

- Ensure the maintenance of an effective working knowledge of all crops/commodities traded, and of seed/fertiliser and other crop products sold.

No previous industry experience is required, however previous exposure to sales, purchasing or account management would be beneficial. The role would suit someone who is confident and enjoys engaging with new people and building relationships. You need to be committed to growing your knowledge of the trading side of the agricultural industry.
