Overview:

This position will play a role in building training capabilities in the organization, as well as growing, developing and managing training needs to support the organization's strategic and programmatic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work with Management on developing Training Strategies, which includes a Training Products Roadmap i.e. training courses & programs to be developed, launched, attaining WSQ-accreditation, implementation of a suitable Learning Management System (LMS). Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor offerings, and evolving learner needs.
2. Identify needs, design and develop training courseware and resources for e-learning and blended learning that can meet the needs of stakeholders. Create curriculum that can align with SkillsFuture framework and qualifying for WSQ-accreditation.
3. Content creation including learning objectives, assessments and learning resources tailored to stakeholders and Government agencies requirements.
4. Work with stakeholders and other curriculum training providers to develop and implement curriculum.
5. Deliver engaging and informative physical and online training sessions to learners, provide hands-on training, demonstrations, and practical exercises, where appropriate, to enhance participants' understanding and proficiency.
6. Support collaborative projects with external educational organizations/service providers.
7. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and maintain strong partnerships. Stay current with the latest training trends to ensure training content is up-to-date and to provide informed and relevant training.
8. Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:

• A relevant university degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology or Training
• Possess ACLP or DDDLP (or the equivalent) would be advantageous
• Experience in training & adult education and working with wide range of stakeholders from individuals to corporates.
• A passion to enhancing the educational experience for adult learners and to meet the needs of the community.
• Knowledge of SkillsFuture framework will be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate, build and maintain good relationship with various stakeholders.
• Collaborator with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling

• Respond promptly to schedule-related support for the outlets.
• Review and redeploy respective zones’ outlets' manpower allocation effectively.
• Analyse and solve any roster errors/issues that may arise.
• Provide reports for excess manpower and shortage of manhours in the outlets.
• Serves as a liaison and communicates with outlets in charge to ensure the outlet publishes the roster timely.
• Communicate with the outlet-in-charge for excess manhours and shortage of manhours.
• To manage the deployment of staff based on operational needs.

Training

• Develop and implement learning content and materials.
• Be creative in learning approaches with an emphasis on activity-based learning.
• Ensure delivery of an effective onboarding program to support the retention of new talent and encourage a smooth transition into the business.
• Ensure learning records are accurately maintained and updated in the system.
• Schedule and manage learning calendar, track and communicate workshop attendance as required.
• Perform learning evaluation, and data analysis and develop learning reports on a regular basis.
• Invigilate and arrange learning assessments.
• Gain exposure by assisting in company events and handling logistic arrangements.
• Support the planning and execution of new learning implementation and initiatives.
• Assist in conducting training at the outlets.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Business/Commerce or its equivalent.
• At least 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in F&B industry.
• Effective communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work well with people at all levels.
• Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingualism is preferred. (English and Chinese in order to liaise with the English/Chinese-speaking business associates)
