This is a new role within our Operations Team where you will be responsible for autonomous vehicle operations in our customer sites where you will be responsible for Remote Vehicle Operations, Maintenance and Systems testing. where you will be cross-deployed to both the testing and operations team. This role will operate on a shift-based schedule. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of autonomous vehicles, monitoring and controlling real-time vehicle operations, conducting general maintenance and executing testing procedures.
On a day to day, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams while integrating new technologies, troubleshooting technical issues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in the success of maintaining compliance with safety regulations, optimizing vehicle performance, and fostering innovation in autonomous vehicle operations.

The Opportunity
The Jetstar NZ Engineering Team are at the forefront of delivering our superior safety standards. They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet of aircraft and customer aircraft, including completing all required maintenance that must be carried out on time and to approved standards to ensure they take to the skies safely. At every stage, all maintenance needs to be documented, detailed records maintained, with aircraft parts ordered and available at all times.
