The Executive/ Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Mobile Deposits Specialist's key responsibility is to acquire account deposits from customers and businesses and to build the opportunity to obtain leads for other products through HLB@Work. You will explain how products work and the services available, provide sales materials and support, create new leads and follow up with new customers. You will work in a wide variety of relevant industries, such as manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, focusing on payroll accounts.

This is a sales role based in our branches and you will report to the Branch Manager.

This position is a sales role and has responsibilities in Deposits account acquisition from consumers and businesses with opportunity to obtain leads for other products through HLB@Work. The position will explain how products work and the services available, provide sales materials and support, create new leads and follow up with new customers. The sales specialist can work on a wide variety of relevant industries, such as manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, to name a few and with focus on payroll accounts.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Functional (job responsibilities)

• Generate and qualify leads from internal and external lists to achieve acquisition goals
• Source and develop client referrals to achieve acquisition goals
• Develop sales proposal and customize by client
• Schedule sales activity and ensure optimum pipeline generation
• Make sales calls to new potential and existing clients
• Negotiate effectively with clients
• Conduct briefing and training to clients
• Respond to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• Follow up on sales activities to ensure sales closure and accounts are open timely
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• Carry out market research and surveys
• Participate in sales events and roadshows where applicable
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in full compliance with guidelines and regulations

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

• To collaborate with other departments to create a unified experience
• To create an achievement oriented working environment.

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

• Responsibility to our ETC customers – put HLB’s long term interest ahead of short term gain.
• Continuous effort to improve business in support of building brand awareness and improving customer experience.
• Ensure all sales proposals are delivered on-time and within scope

Requirements:
Education/Qualification

• Diploma, Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field is preferred Experience
• Min 3 years in sales experience
• Experience in banking products, process and policies

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Functional (job responsibilities)

Sales & Revenue

• Aggressively source and book new loans for the bank;
• Solicit leads via referrals and cold calls for sales via marketing visits, telemarketing, launches, roadshows and any other sales activities to achieve sales targets;
• Complete action of all leads assigned via LMS and strive to deliver high conversion rate of these leads to sales;

Customer Relationship & Marketing

• Develop and maintain strong relationship with current and new customer;
• Attend road shows and/or any branch/off-site activities when required;
• To actively promote Unsecured Personal Loan products;
• Cross selling other banking products as and when opportunity arises to increase customers’ stickiness with HLB;

Compliance & Regulatory

• Exhibit high professionalism and competency when selling;
• Ensure bank’s interest is protected at all times;
• Comply with bank’s relevant internal policies, SOPs, sales compliance and statutory requirement in relation FSA, KYC, AMLA and all relevant internal policies & procedures and sales compliance;
• To maintain and uphold service standards set by the Bank at all times.
