Job Purpose

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position reports to the division's Finance Manager and assist in the Disability Services' finance and operations matters. He/she will assist with 80% of the time in supporting day-to-day Finance responsibilities & remaining 20% of the time in handling operations matters.

  • Assist / support the evaluation of quotes process by requesting quotations from vendor(s) for supply of goods or services.
  • Check and/or raise Purchase Requisitions, weekly payments, monthly staff claims and vendor payments and ensure they are processed timely.
  • Preparing/maintaining/reviewing monthly accounts schedules.
  • Month-end / year-end closing activities including journal entries. Perform monthly reconciliations including bank reconciliations and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate billing & accounting receivables entries. Ensure collections of outstanding fees from clients. Process customer's refund (if any).
  • Assist in the Budget planning and expense controls.
  • Support and submit all accounting required accounting receipts, records to HQ Finance and Internal and External Auditors when required as part of compliance controls
  • Back-up for the recording of inventories for Donations-in-kind entries and tally with entries in 365 Business Central.
  • Reconciliation of posted transactions between bank statement and general ledger.
  • Prepare reconciliation of Balance Sheet, Donations-in-kind (DIK), funding's, accounts receivables/payables and GST Input/Output/Absorption to general ledger.
  • Prepare various records / schedules for submission to regulatory agencies such as Ministry of Social and Family (MSF), National Council of Social Services (NCSS), SG Enable and any government ministries or agencies.
  • Participate in finance projects, if any.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/ITE/A LEVEL/O Level/ N LEVEL

OTHER INFORMATION

• At least 2 years of proven accounting work experience
• Hands-on with a can-do attitude. Ability to multi-task, set priorities and committed towards meeting deadlines
• High degree of accuracy with a keen eye for details
• Independent as well as a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• IT savvy and hands-on experience in using Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
• Available within short notice is advantageous

Work Location:

Mostly at HK Home of the Disabled @ Eunos (opposite Eunos MRT station) and for some days at Pan-Disability Centre @ Eunos (behind Eunos MRT station). Both are within 2-3 minutes from each other.

We are looking for a Finance and Insurance Consultant to join our team in a full-time permanent role based in our Port Macquarie Dealership. The role will be essentially focused on the sale of all Finance & Insurance products on all new and used vehicles sold.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and every second Saturday.
An individual with excellent verbal & written communication skills .
Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills.
A positive mindset with a willingness to work within a team.
Computer literacy.
Hold a current drivers license.
Previously Banking and or Finance and Insurance Sales experience preferred but not essential. If you believe a career change is for you and demonstrate your excellent customer focus and can do attitude, then we'd like to hear from you.
What the role entails:

Delivering sales of finance and insurance products as an integral parts of the sales process.
Responding to all enquiries in a timely manner.
Providing an excellent guest experience to all customers visiting our dealership.
Managing all documentation and settlement paperwork with a strict adherence to compliance.
Adhering to Dealership Compliance Policies.

Responsibilities

• To promote efficiency and independence in our front to back process flows by focusing on timely and accurate handling of client instruction validation, and professional and friendly client callbacks, related to areas including: Ad-hoc fund transfer, Cheques/Cashier Order deposit and Issuance, Security Transfer
• Support the onboarding/termination of Stock Lending Borrowing for Wealth Management (WM) clients and liaison with Hong Kong Image Return Documents for Hong Kong securities for tax exemption.
• Coordinate and support IPO documentation process with Execution desk, external brokers and legal teams.
• To manage all incoming Front Office issues/escalations related day to day instruction handling in a timely, accurate and customer friendly manner.
• Report or raise irregularities or issues which may cause potential breach in controls or deviations from standard processes promptly to team leader and line manager

Qualification

• Overall know-how of banking products and processing areas
• Pleasant personality with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Organised and systematic individual who pays attention to details and accuracy
• Fast learner and ability to rotate between different topic areas and tasks
• Experience in client services and/or payment processing
• Outstanding end-user computing skills (MS Office Suite), Visual Basic, Macros etc.

This is a full-time position located in all areas of Regional VIC.

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the timely completion of accurate and comprehensive quotes for accident repairs on vehicles. You will apply your knowledge of motor vehicles and your skills with computers whilst interacting with a range of people.

Reporting to the Centre Manager this role will work within our large network of repair facilities and you will be provided with stability and opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and work providers
- Accurately quote vehicles in a timely manner and in accordance with average repair cost targets and insurer/company procedures
- Complete quotes as required onsite, off-site and online
- Processing vehicles onsite by carrying out vehicle arrival inspections, including mapping and imaging
- Manage parts for repairs to ensure timely arrival and cost effectiveness as required
- Manage suppliers to ensure additional work is recorded and authorised in a timely manner
- Assist with production management of the centre where required
- Ensure vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition
- Hand over completed repairs to customers

About You
- Proven experience within a similar position including experience in the preparation of estimates / quotations in the automotive smash repair industry
- Proven experience with AudaNet would be highly desirable
- Ibody experience desirable but not necessary
- Excellent customer service skills including building rapport with customers and work providers
- Highly professional and personable
- Strong systems experience and competent computer abilities
- Excel an advantage but not a necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
