Job Description

The Junior Optical Network Field Engineer will work closely with senior engineers to assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of optical network equipment and infrastructure in the field. Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in installing, configuring, and commissioning optical network equipment, including switches, multiplexers, amplifiers, and transceivers.
• Support in conducting site surveys to assess optical network requirements, evaluate existing infrastructure, and identify potential challenges.
• Learn and assist in performing fiber optic cable installations, terminations, and splicing in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
