The Digital S/W Eng Sr Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and work in design and development of strategic BCMA applications with the engineering architect.
- Collaborate with the offshore team and help/guide them in delivering the strategic initiatives.
- Contribute towards the BCMA Data Services framework build out that will be the foundation for all apps across Banking Technology.
- Collaborate across teams where necessary and contribute building the core data services components across BCMA.
Skills:
- Proven hands on experience developing a loosely-coupled micro-services in the Java (8+) technology stack including spring, spring-boot, spring-data, JPA, kafka, REST-ful architecture, maven/gradle, websockets, TDD.
- Proven hands on experience developing a loosely-coupled UI applications using Angular (2+) and creating custom web components, Typescript. Experience build micro-ui framework an added advantage.
- Experience leading tech team for delivery/ execution of complex, multi dependency projects
- Experience with NoSql and Relational DBs like Mongo, Oracle.
- Experience with performance tuning of code base using relevant tools.
- Experience in working with Cloud based deployments, Docker
- Experience with Devops – creating pipeline, CI/CD, Git, Gitflow branching merging
- Experience with working in an Agile methodology of delivery
- Working closely with the product management team in running the Agile delivery process.
- Is comfortable in a collaborative, agile, and distributed development environment.

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
