Duties as Construction Site Manager are as follows:
· Manage the works on site and work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project timeline
· Handle all aspects of site requirements, Safety, Quality and Costs
· Aware of Quality Systems and perform regular audits to convince clients of compliance
· Submit weekly site activity report to GM every Monday.
· Attend to site reporting requirements and documentation, near miss submission
· To lead and delegate work to a team of workers
· Account for proper deployment of workers, plants, machineries to site
· Accountable for compliance to safe work procedures and maintains good house keeping
· Ensure works are executed within the acceptable standard of workmanship
· Take ownership of toolbox meeting, site progress meeting and safety management meeting
· Schedule and organise site walkabouts for leadership presence and visibility
· Grow and skill up direct workforce via productivity drives and reduce reliance on subcontractors
· Experience in using CMS to report cost and KPI performance.
· Responsible for maintaining a competency matrix for all employees
. Carry out works related to surveying & setting out.
. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
. Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant
. Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities
. Quality control in accordance with IS/procedures method statements, quality plans and inspection and test
plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors
. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of
any subcontractors
. Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
. Ensure worker follow HSSE procedures on site
