Requirement;

Position Purpose 

The purpose of this role is to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain
operations, ensuring that our products are delivered to customers on time and in full,
contributing to the overall success and competitive position of our company. This
position is responsible for optimizing processes, enhancing collaboration with key
stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer
demands, minimize costs, and maintain high standards of service excellence.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities : 

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure supply chain plans support company growth and customer satisfaction goals.
• Enhance order processing and fulfillment to meet the fast-paced demands of the FMCG market.
• Collaborate with Sales and Client Management teams to prioritize orders and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.
• Manage goods returns, aligning with customer satisfaction and industry benchmarks.
• Lead demand planning and inventory management to prevent stock-outs and
  overstock situations.
• Implement inventory control measures tailored to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
• Utilize advanced inventory management tools to track and analyze stock
  movements.
• Manage our 3PL warehouse operations and logistics, optimizing for cost and
  performance.
• Collaborate with 3PL providers to optimize warehouse layout, inventory
  management, and distribution processes.
• Monitor 3PL performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives tailored to the unique demands of the FMCG industry to enhance overall supply chain performance.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies specific to the FMCG industry to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
• Stay informed about industry trends and external factors that may impact the supply chain.
• Work closely with various departments, including Sales, Client Management, Marketing, Business Support and Finance, to streamline processes and enhance overall supply chain effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and communication across the organization.

Work Relations 

Internal : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Client
Management, Business Support and Finance, to achieve supply chain objectives and
drive continuous improvement initiatives.

External : Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, agencies,
logistics partners, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure a seamless flow of goods and services throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor & degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a
  related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management roles within the FMCG industry, with a track record of success.
• Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse and logistics operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in supply chain management software and best practices in the FMCG

Job Description

1. Manufacturing:

• Oversee the process of manufacturing, especially on fabrication cylinder process (molding and machine set-up), spray painting process, powder filling process, final assembly, fire hose reel process, and other products.
• Ensure the material availability for manufacturing process planning before creating the job order.
• Assist provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
• Assist in monitoring daily manufacturing records and verifying records in the “Overall Equipment Effectiveness” (OEE) system.
• Monitor and check nonconformance products, “Discrepant Material Report (DMR) during the in-process for QAQC department verification and inspection purposes.
• Monitor and minimize product rework and rejection.
• Identify the cause of product failure and recommend a “Corrective Action Request” (CAR).
• Coordinate with the QAQC department and other departments, especially on items relating to product quality and improvement.
• Overseeing subordinates; providing guidance and delegation.
• Find a supplier (immediate request) to purchase special spare parts machines, molding parts, tools, etc.
• Ensure daily work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the work environment meets health & safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Involve in new product development
• Perform other duties assigned
   

2. Production:

• Oversee the production assembly process, especially on production assembly product, Gas filling process, e-feis application process (for BOMBA), and product servicing process.
• Ensure the material availability for production assembly, servicing, and repair planning before creating job orders.
• Assist provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
• Assist in monitoring daily production records and verifying records in the “Overall Equipment Effectiveness” (OEE) system.
• Monitor and check nonconformance products, “Discrepant Material Report (DMR) during the in-process for QAQC department verification and inspection purposes.
• Monitor and minimize product rework and rejection rate.
• Identify the cause of product failure and recommend a “Corrective Action Request” (CAR).

• Oversee all the maintenance work and operation.
• Maintain all machinery, overhead cranes, forklifts, and compressors and ensure their working standards.
• Person in charge of forklift maintenance.
• Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
• Ensure the material availability for fabrication, servicing, and repair planning
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and update maintenance records.
• Identify the cause of product failure and recommend corrective action.
• Provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
• Overseeing subordinates; providing guidance and delegation.
• Find a supplier (immediate request) to purchase special spare parts machines, molding parts, tools, and for unplanned maintenance or emergency issues.
• Ensure daily work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in safety committee meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned.
• Oversee the process of manufacturing/production.
• Assist in preparing fabrication jobs for products, etc.
• Involve in new product development.
   

Job Requirements:

• SPM with proven experience in supervisory role or Diploma in engineering, manufacturing, production or similar capacity
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, moulding, and similar related fields
• Possess leadership qualities and able to work closely and supervise a team of local and foreign employees in carrying out their daily job responsibilities.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Fast learner and willing to learn
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure

ABOUT YOUR ROLE: You will be essential to our products' success from ideation to market launch as an experienced product manage and will be part of our product management team. You will need to have  a strong combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic thinking. You should also have a track record of effectively launching products into the market and maximizing their performance over the course of their lives and in addition, act as the “Voice of the local business/market”, while aligning with regional strategy. You will be based in Kajang, Selangor . You will report to the Senior Manager, Product Management, ASEAN.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Create a well-defined product strategy that is in line with the overarching business goals. Make a thorough product plan that outlines both short- and long-term objectives, and manage it.
• Work closely with the local RnD team to develop & launch products which are truly unique to the local market. Identify, highlight & work with the regional team for bigger platform projects.
• Map out key competitors' product portfolio, conduct research & benchmarking studies to develop a deep understanding of their market position.
• Clearly convey product plans, updates, and significant achievements to external partners and internal stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between teams with and without technical expertise.
• Use customer insights and data analytics to create well-informed choices. 
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and pricing.
• Joint visits to converters & end users along with sales & segment teams on project basis for new opportunities.
• Work closely with the Marcom team to develop a Commercial Messaging package including Collaterals, Selling Tools, Product Services Guide, Standardized Product Data Sheets and Launch Pack for local products & ensure alignment with regional guidelines.
• Develop new suppliers or new products with existing suppliers to ensure products are introduced to the market of greatest value.
• Provide training, consultation and support to customers, sales and quality consultants in product technology.
• Summarize and conclude the product introduction plan and manage constructive conclusions with the team.
• Gain preliminary understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements related to product and market applications.
