• Maintain an understanding of the employment problems, constituencies laws and special guidance pertaining to issues of disability and reasonable accommodation.
• Review issues involved in EEO complaints to identify substantive matters reflecting patterns or practice, supervisory attitudes, or other problem areas that result in denial of equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities.

• You will utilize HR personnel systems and computer software to prepare retirement annuity estimates and deposit, redeposit, and post-56 calculations, to include manual calculations of time rendered in different agencies such as NAF.
• You will verify and certify services for special retirement positions to ensure proper approval for special retirement coverage.
• You will review employees records for any retirement plan errors, and process the necessary corrections for resolution.

• Works as a Recreation Aid (Physical Fitness), in the Pentagon Athletic Center. Issues and ensures correct, proper, and safe use of all fitness equipment. Explains equipment usage to guests. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on equipment.
• Works various sport and fitness programs and tournaments. Answers member questions, conducts inventory, and maintains membership database. Utilizes automated booking system to make various reservations and appointments.
• Responsible for money handling and maintaining internal control practices. Prepares and sells items from the on-site pro-shop/wellness area.
• Is familiar with the working of the pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi operations, ensures safety and usage is monitored. Reports any problems to the immediate supervisor or the manager on duty as soon as possible. Performs in-house laundry duties.

Based on a good working knowledge of the organization and substantive programs under the supervisor's control, the incumbent resolves problems associated with the administrative and clerical work of the office. Within this basic structure the incumbent performs the following duties:

• Receives call, greets visitors and directs to staff members only those contacts needing their attention or action.
• Maintains office calendar for the manager and schedules appointments based on knowledge of the manager's interests and commitments.
• Responds to routine and non-technical requests for information such as status of reports, duty status of office personnel, suspense date for matters requiring compliance and similar information readily available from files.
• Composes correspondence on administrative support or clerical function of the office as well as other subjects as outlined in regulations and procedures specifically requested by the manager and/or key staff members.

• Track and synchronize engagements with the Congressional calendar, to include identifying opportunities for Army Senior Leaders to proactively engage on initiatives ahead of annual defense authorization and appropriations mark ups.
• Track and assess all congressional reporting requirements that pertain to the agency portfolio, and review, analyze, and edit annual reports to Congress.
• Perform the full range of congressional liaison work including staffing, research, analysis, and formulation of official responses to written and telephonic requests from Members of Congress, their staffs, and Congressional committees.
• Maintain an active dialog with the legislative office of the Department of the Army, all Service Departments and the Department of Defense, as well as other governmental agencies, and the corporate community.
• Integrate the U.S. Army legislative budget priorities into Congressional strategies to inform, advance, and defend the Army's annual budget request and programmatic priorities within the annual Defense and Military Construction Appropriation Bills.
• Lead congressional hearing preparation, to include written and oral statements, advanced mock Q/A's and preparing hearing materials for Army Senior Leaders where portfolio equities are involved.
