Job Responsibilities

• To maximize conference and banqueting revenue and profit through pro-active selling techniques and pricing strategy
• Respond to sales inquiries on timely manner from potential clients and customers seeking meeting space, annual dinner, conference, ceremony, food and beverage services.
• Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and goals
• Analyse business markets and design sales strategy & set goals to execute.
• Oversee sales and event department for daily operation and activities.
• Oversee event costing such as part timers recruitments, equipment for maintenance, meeting amenities and daily expenses in premises.
• Evaluate and improve sales and financial performance

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing / Business Administration / Hotel Management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related filed is required for this position.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Excellent convincing abilities, good communication skills, sales and negotiation skills
• A team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the proper supervision and function of all Food & Beverage associates, operation, sales, costs and departmental profits according to standards, budgets, and key result area objectives.
• The Food & Beverage Manager able to drive- revenue to achieve set budgets,
  marketing & promotions and strategies to optimise revenue and minimize expenses.
• The Food & Beverage Manager responsible for all the food & beverage operations (outlets / function rooms) includes culinary section with highest standards.
• Plan, order and manage food & beverage inventory, control cost in the outlets,
  managed labor cost based on event and budget.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to create menus / promotions and maintain a pleasant dining experience.
• Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns and handle with courteously.
• Conduct associate evaluations, motivate, develop, train and retain associates which encompass training program & hotel recognition programs.
• Comply with all health and safety and rules and regulations of the company.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in F&B Management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of F&B trends, industry best practices, and regulatory guidelines
• Excellent leadership, communication & interpersonal skills
