· Partners closely with APAC commercial operations, Global and Customer Marketing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Affairs to ensure focus/alignment of medical affairs activities and deliverables in APAC with the overall business strategy in region. This includes but not limited to support activities of existing product offerings and identification of new products and their respective development. The day programme opened in October last year and its main to provide a step up to support to avoid inpatient being required or as a step down to support earlier discharge from inpatient beds. The successful candidate will work as part of our specialised multidisciplinary team to provide effective, evidence-based and holistic patient-centred care.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be accountable to the registered nurses and other clinicians you work with.

Typical tasks for this role are:

You will assist with the processing of new admissions to the Children and Young People's Day Programme. The young people you'll work with are aged 13-17 years old. You will participate in the planning and providing of clinical interventions relevant to the patient group such as: completing vital observations, ECG’s and Venepuncture, running therapeutic groups, coaching carers and supporting young person through meal support, supporting key work and attending MDT meetings. You will assist with patient reviews and participate in supporting clients to improve their physical and mental health.

Who are we?
The team consists of a wide range of disciplines including nurses, OT's, other Allied Health Professionals, and Doctors. We work closely with the other services within VSEDS to ensure we have high standards of care and to ensure support can be offered through all stages of treatment.

Our main base is in Chelsea (next to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital). Thanks to the NHS influence many local cafes, restaurants and bars give discounts ranging from 10-20% to all NHS staff.

·Undertake a range of duties which involve direct patient care, including running of therapeutic groups and offering meal support, with supervision following competency assessment
· Undertake training to carry out basic physical monitoring e.g. vital signs, blood sugar monitoring for patients.
· Assist in the coordination of care delivery for a case load of service users, under the supervision of a registered professional, in close collaboration with the Directorate, psychiatric multidisciplinary team, service users and other community agencies.
· Work independently with clients, with regular supervision from qualified staff that supervise the caseload
· Contribute to the monitoring of the physical environment ensuring that it is safe and conducive to the therapeutic work of the unit/community setting.
· Have informed knowledge and understanding in the psychological, social, physical and spiritual needs of all service users
· Actively participate in the care and rehabilitation of service users as per the plan of care determined by registered practitioners
· Maintain clear, timely and comprehensive written clinical records on all
patients in accordance with Trust policies
· Utilising IT skills and knowledge to access and input clinical information and data to the Trust Electronic System (system one) and Local Authority IT system.
· Using the Care Programme Approach assess service users health and social care needs
· Contribute towards the delivery of care using the recovery approach to provide therapeutic interventions under supervision by means of assessment and ongoing treatment in various settings. Design care programmes in line with risk assessment and psychosocial needs.
· Utilise designated recovery tool with outcomes focusing on collaborative care planning, ensuring personalised goals are identified and clients are assisted in building skills and resources to support them into meaningful and sustainable occupations.
· To be familiar with factors that cause mental illness and preferred treatment methods
· Support the assessment and management of patient care needs through initial data collection, monitoring of patients progress, feedback, discussion, and reports and in care reviews with the clinical team.
· Assist in the physical health care assessment of service users and report any changes in service users physical health to the registered practitioner
· Provide information of health promotion and healthy living
· Take part in psychosocial interventions i.e. CBT, DBT, psycho-education or
family work as per service user care plan.
· Provide patients and their carers with a service that is culturally sensitive and gives due consideration to any special needs

The Asia Pacific (AP) Precision Medicine Lead will have responsibility for developing and executing the Precision Medicine Strategic plans for Medical Affairs (MAF) across all disease areas in the Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Organisation. This role will require working in close collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders across the regional, local and global organization.

The AP Precision Medicine Lead will lead Medical Affairs activities in support of companion and complementary diagnostics (CDx) for products within J&J’s targeted therapies pipeline across Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and in all stages of development and commercialization within the Asia Pacific region.

The successful candidate should have experiences and expertise in Precision Medicine and ideally have extensive pharmaceutical or diagnostic medical expertise, with experience in one or more TA’s of interest, including (but not limited to) Lung Cancer and Oncology, Retina, Neurosciences (NS) and Immunology. This role requires strong leadership with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to translate the Precision Medicine & Diagnostic Medical strategy into execution for our targeted therapies pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• ·Lead the development and execution of Regional Medical Affairs Precision Medicine strategy in support of each product indication launch in therapeutic areas where companion and complementary diagnostics (CDx) are required to ensure patient access and medical adoption”, including Oncology (Lung cancers, etc.) as well as Retina, NS and Immunology at AP level and collaborate closely on the prioritized assets with all markets
• · Develop internal and external customer engagements that successfully support precision medicine business objectives.
• · Collaborate on the execution of the Regional cross-functional Precision Company Confidential Page 2 of 3 Medicine overarching and prioritized PM related assets strategies.
• · Serve as a regional expert on Precision Medicine and provide medical guidance to the Therapeutic Areas Strategy Leadership & MAF teams, with a strong focus on launch readiness preparation, regulatory and funding requirements, and support the development of Centres of Excellence (CoEs)
• · Build current and future competitive advantage by understanding and addressing key customers’ medical needs, and by demonstrating deep understanding of competitors’ development strategies
• · Lead scientific evaluation of diagnostics platforms, actively seek effective strategic partnerships and collaboration with appropriate academies, medical societies and CDx companies to support awareness and understanding of the genetic mutations, testings and pathologies addressed by our assets
• · Drive key external stakeholder engagement Plans and Lead Medical education events, to educate on the unmet needs
• · Lead and co-create evidence generation strategies and tactics that address unmet medical needs and identify biomarker/diagnostic opportunities for portfolio prioritized assets. Support the development of AP-specific value propositions. Raise AP unmet needs to Global Teams for integrated WW plans
• · Support Clinical Trials and post-marketing studies for our targeted therapies when needed
• · Continue to educate internal stakeholders on the precision medicine landscape and dynamics, supporting PM as a strategic priority
• · Contribute to developing internal MAF and cross-functional capabilities required for long-term success in precision medicine
• · Own the budget for assigned medical activities and partnerships
• · Establish a productive work environment by creating trust and respect in all interactions

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelors degree essential. Advanced qualifications preferred

· 5+ years experience in the Pharmaceutical/biotech/diagnostic industry in progressive medical leadership roles

· Strong leadership skills required. Strong communication skills required

· Strong analytical, scientific and strategic thinking to identify key business issues and establish priorities

· Must exhibit behaviors aligned to the J&J Global Leadership Profile including but not limited to: integrity-credo based actions, collaboration and teamwork, sense of urgency, and ability to drive results

· Awareness and commitment to adhere to J&J Values, SOPs and Policies

· Ability to work with Key Opinion Leaders and external stakeholders

· Experience in diagnostics and precision medicine required Regional Medical experience preferred

The role is AP based with the expectation that the candidate be based in Singapore or his/her current country of residence in the AP Region as long as easy access to travel/transportation and local hosting is available at a J&J office.
