Responsibilities:

Responsible for the procurement of all major equipment and/or materials for assigned projects. Ensures that project equipment and materials are purchased within budget, in accordance with all project specification requirements, and in accordance with required delivery schedules. Manage and mentor the team when necessary. The purpose of the Procurement Lead is to assist the PPM throughout the procurement lifecycle within the designated domain, e.g. Topside/Marine, etc. this involves understanding and flowing down teh requests from the PMT to subordinate sraff. Beyond Purchasing and Sourcing, Procurement Lead also assumes responsibility for functions such as expediting, Inspection, logistics, and material control.

• Establishes and maintains mutually beneficial long-term supplier alliances or frame agreements to ensure competitive prices and to reduce engineering, inspection, expediting and overall transaction costs.
• Develops Bidders Lists for assigned RFQ packages, prepares RFQ specific commercial documents and issues RFQ to suppliers for bid. Coordinates clarification/revisions as required.
• Conducts Bid Opening, prepares Bid Ranking, prepares bid clarification requests and issues to selected bidders and coordinates bidder clarification meetings ensuring process is conducted smoothly and with clarity
• Reviews Bid Evaluation with Project Team and identifies negotiation points; coordinates meetings and may lead commercial negotiations with selected bidder to ensure the best possible deal is secured
• Purchase Orders are developed and issued in conformance with standard Operating Procedures, Department Work Instruction, Ethical Code of Conduct and Quality System requirements. Negotiates and issues PO Change Orders as well as monitoring status reports
• Investigates and responds to Accounting’s invoice queries, addresses invoice discrepancies with Suppliers; administers, negotiates and documents Back Charges with Suppliers. Investigates and responds to Document Control’s queries on Vendor documentation.
• Works with suppliers to ensure that Corrective Action Request (CAR) responses are timely and results are satisfactory, and if necessary, administers and negotiates Warranty Claims with suppliers through claim resolution
• Performance evaluation of suppliers for each of the various types of equipment, materials and services is traceable and Supplier Performance Management System is utilized to provide timely feedback to suppliers
• Coordinate teh functions such as expediting, Inspection, logistics, and material control. Ensuring seamless coordination among these sections, the role involves overseeing a comprehensive spectrum of procurement activities and contributing to the efficient functioning of the overall procurement process.

Requirements/Qualification:

• Degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, operations or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience with proven performance and knowledge of assigned components and services.
• Professional experience applying broad knowledge of principals and practices of purchasing or materials management.

Work Conditions

Most of the working time is in the office. Sometimes have to do site visits at to FPSO Integration sites, Fabrication Yards and suppliers’ premises. Sometimes need to travel for Yard visits, supplier meetings or assignment to a foreign work location.

Overall Job Purpose

The COE will reports to COE Lead and maintains responsibility for hands-on leadership in managing and supporting PTP (procure-to- pay), and related modules within MODEC’s global SAP system. This position represents the module expertise and will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing business processes, standard procedure, and template policy for SAP Procure-to-Pay process (MM module). This position will also be carrying out project planning and management for minor or medium scale projects.

Job Requirements:

• Provide operational support, finding solutions for incoming incidents. Investigate, monitor, follow up issues
• Working closely with the Procurement teams globally to grasp new business requirements and translate it SAP (non-SAP) Solution design
• As subject matter expert in procurement and supply chain area, carry out continuous improvement activities for the SAP template processes to meet business expectations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to introduce new enhancements, processes and functionalities and tracking the business benefits
• Responsible of Modec’s SAP Template Governance
• Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing business processes, standard procedure, and template policy
• Working closely with different teams (eg: Basis, Abap, AMS) to ensure issues and requests are addressed timely
• Prepare proposal and presentation to stakeholders to communicate ideas and to obtain buy-in
• Carry out and manage minor or medium scale projects and ensure all aspect of the projects are aligned and risk being managed
• Support on-going business transformation activities within MODEC

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Certification(s):
SAP certification(s) strongly preferred

Basic Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Must have strong Procure To Pay process experience (PR, PO, GR, Invoice, Payment, Plant, Material, Vendor)
• Minimum 3 full life cycle implementation experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or newer version
• Experience with WM, Transport Management is nice to have
• Experience with Ariba Cloud Solutions is nice to have
• Proven ability to define user requirements and corresponding system specifications, accurate time estimates and creation of clear and concise documentation.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing of functional specifications for reports, Interfaces, and validations, creating and reviewing technical specifications.
• Experience in working as a lead position for 1 to 2 projects and co-coordinating Clients, Internal team members and providing business support.
• Have knowledge on project management and able to structure and scope a project and to manage a project through to completion.
• Experience in Data migration/Conversions related activities and development
• Expertise in preparing user training documentation, unit test scripts and Integration test scripts.
• Have exposure coordinating with Onsite/Offshore team members.
• Experience in supporting a global organization
• Established experience in working in a matrix management environment

Job Description:

• Perform goods receive in Navision system and update good receive status in the system.
• Generate Traveller and release good to QC and Production
• Prepare shipping/ delivery documentation - Packing List, Internal Delivery Order and other Custom Documents for internal shipments
• Coordinate in-house shipment schedule or external shipment arrangement, e.g. Courier service/ crating and freight partners-FedEx/ DHL/ freight forwarder
• Create and upload logistic documents in Navision.
• Generate and process transfer form and do the consumption and output journal for assembly parts/ project.
• Keep track of the material inventory and accountable for finish goods.
• Maintain daily warehouse operation
• Participate in company warehouse system digitization project.
• Create Items card and drawing conversion.
• Support in QC & Production process.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor / HOD
