• Plan Development:

  • Create detailed IT Business Contingency plans, including response protocols, escalation procedures, and communication strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of contingency plans.

• Testing and Validation:

  • Coordinate and conduct regular testing exercises, including tabletop simulations, scenario-based drills, and full-scale exercises.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of contingency plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document lessons learned and update plans accordingly.

• Training and Awareness:

  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities during a contingency event.
  • Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience within the organization.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and best practices related to IT Business Contingency.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess the maturity and effectiveness of the IT Business Contingency program.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned and industry benchmarks.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree graduate preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Proven experience in IT Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with industry-standard IT Business Continuity frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, BCI Good Practice Guidelines).
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and data protection strategies.
• Project management experience is a plus.
