We do offer this role as hybrid however attendance required in the office is not set.

What will you be doing?
Working with the IT and Business Systems Team you will be:• Develop and maintain high quality, easy to understand reports, dashboards and data outputs which consolidate data from YHA’s data warehouse and business systems.• Assist with the development of business intelligence solutions which automatically transform and simplify source system data to enable high-performance querying.• Ensure a high level of quality control is consistently applied to all data outputs, and appropriate documentation is produced and maintained. You’ll test, verify, and demonstrate that YHA’s data is accurate and up to date.• Work with system owners to ensure that systems and the data within them are compliant with relevant regulations and meet audit requirements.
What Skills and Experience do you need?

For the role of Business Report Developer, we are looking for the following:• Experience developing reporting solutions in SQL Reporting Services and Power BI.• Excellent understanding of SQL is essential.• Knowledge and understanding of Business Intelligence principles and database design.• Experience with Business Objects and/or QlikView would be advantageous.• Proven experience of managing data quality, alongside a good working knowledge of data protection principles. • Experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.• Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.• Clear and confident communicator with the ability to create and deliver concise and engaging communications for a non-technical audience.

1.     Develop your Music Industry Network and Identify key labels & artists:

• Contribute to company growth by sourcing label & artist leads in the Japan market from all types and levels by utilizing your network.

• Develop localized key sales tools to enable Sales team to approach prospect businesses.

2.     Qualify label & artist potential, tailor offer to prospects and close deals:

• Assess label & artists potential, estimate deal value, and collect information to manage the sales pipeline in compliance with defined business rules.
• Build knowledge of company’s different types of deals to cater to label & artist needs
• Manage and update company’s CRM system daily. 
• Present opportunities to your local teams and coordinate with Head of LAS to validate deal offers.
• Carry out meetings with prospective clients to pitch our services and follow up through negotiations until signing, working with the local team.
• Analyze and report progress, and seek constant improvements with the team.

3.     Identify Market Trends and market dynamics and report to management: 

• Audit and identify emerging label & artists market trends by attending meetings, gigs, showcases, conferences, and other events to represent Believe and your key clients.

• Build strong relationships with labels, artists, management, and the local industry (music lawyers etc.).
• Inform internal team about market evolution.

4.     Alignment of clients and internal stakeholders:

• Ensure streamlined communication with all stakeholders
• Ensure the best transition with the team that will handle customer’s day-to-day relationship and support (especially account management team)

SALES EXECUTIVE

1) Manage existing accounts and establish new customer’s account by cold calling and canvassing.

2) Conduct sales presentation and prepare sales proposals for sales closure to meet the company’s sales and profit targets.

3) Conduct product demonstration and training to end users.

Requirements

About the Role

We are hiring a Power BI Consultant (Analyst) to build financial reporting and planning tools for our clients (finance teams).

The successful candidate will be able to balance three main categories of work:

Power BI and SQL: the candidate must have strong skills with Power BI (including DAX

and Power Query) and SQL, as they will be building and managing complex financial

reporting and planning solutions for our clients

Financial Analysis: the candidate must be strongly conversant with financial analysis;

they must be very familiar with common financial reports including income statements,

cash flow statements, balance sheets, accounts receivable/payable, and basic

accounting principles

Communication: the candidate must be able to communicate clearly as they will be

engaging with our US-based clients (verbally and written)

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to collect and define requirements for financial reporting and planning solutions
• Building aesthetically appealing, accurate, effective financial reporting and planning solutions using Power BI (and the Microsoft Power Platform)
• Build data modeling solutions (in Power BI, Power Query, SQL) to solve client business reporting and planning needs
• QA Testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting Power BI solutions throughout the project lifecycle
• Demonstrating solutions to clients, incorporating feedback from clients, answering client questions, and guiding the client throughout the project lifecycle
• Reconciling data with source databases to ensure accuracy; reconciling calculations and measures
• Troubleshooting and managing issues with dashboards and similar tools; providing ongoing support for solutions we provide our customers

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Above average to excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Data Modeling.
• Strong understanding of how businesses analyze cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and its alignment with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for executing technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders; developing analysis to support process and project improvements
- Researches and analyses improvement opportunities, conducts analysis, prepares recommendations and facilitates efficiency enhancements

- Serves as the liaison and the reference point between the business and the technical analyst in making sure the requirements are clearly understood and translated to the functional requirements by leveraging on the resources and skill-set within and across the work-streams
- Works as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years in a Business Analyst role

- Must have experience in Product Launch for Life Insurance / Banking industries

- Delivery experience in Agile would be advantageous
