Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife.
The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Responsible for all aspects of design, technical, design development for merchandising collection.
· Develop and maintain merchandise collaboration guidelines, logo placement and other product ancillaries’ design (hang tags, price tags)
· Maintain communication template for retail merchandise for members, staff and online
· Provide design, layout and illustration for communications instore, newsletter, ecommerce and out of park.
· Demonstrate outstanding versatility and creativity to maintain network integrity and availability while simultaneously contributing graphic design concepts to team.
· Research on trend product design trends and customers preference and apply onto our creative design process.
· Drive Mandai product concept development timelines.
· Ability to combine technology and art using images / text to effectively communicate ideas through designs.
· Work closely with internal teams to ensure timelines adherence and gather feedback on customer
· Work with Commercial Marketing team, Brand team and Education team to ensure asset alignment and creative language.
· Manage all design projects and mentor junior designer to ensure high quality work throughout the entirety of the project.
Requirements:
· Diploma or Degree in graphic design, fine arts or design and visual communication
· Design background with at least 3 years of experience on product merchandise design
· Creative and updated with market trend
· Good management of timelines and adaptability
· Good team player and independent worker
· Good written and verbal communication
· Competent in Adobe Suite
