Job Scope :

The IT Support is responsible for providing essential technical support and troubleshooting all IT issues for company's employees to minimize the discruption of daily business operation.

Key Responsibilities :

• To provide day to day IT system support
• To provide technicial support on workstations and technical support for the server
• To maintain and responsible for daily end-users' support in hardware and software technical problems within reasonable timeframe in order to ensure smooth daily business operation
• To administer the network by leeping the system hardware and software up to the current revision / release and monitoring of the system performance
• Troubleshooting and administration of the server, email, network security, internet access, phone, printer, door access, attendance system, CCTV, video conference and infrastructure
• To Ensure the IT related inventory and software licensing control

Competency :

• Must be self-motivated, capable to work independently
• Able to learn quickly, meet deadlines and demonstrate problem solving skills
• Demonstrate willingness to explore and learn new technologies.
• Knowledge in ICT familiar with below system will be added advantage:
  - Cisco Switching
  - SAP ERP
  - Microsoft OS & Infrastructure

Qualification :

A minimum of a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields.

Experience :

At least 2 years' experience in a related field is encouraged.

Responsibilities: 

• Learn and work on programming (programming language.net) project basis from Division Head/Direct Superior. [Programming]
  Write a new /upgrade programming system.
• Develop applications and system for multiple platform (PC, server and mobile phones)
• Maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot any in-house developed applications (including software, system and programs).
• Teach the user how to use in-house software applications:
• Write manual for the software developed.
• Give training or refresher session.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical requirements, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings effectively. [Data Analysis]
  Collecting, cleaning, pre-processing, analysing, and visualizing data generating reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders. [Data Analysis]
• Utilize machine learning techniques for predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems as needed. [Data Analysis]
• Assist Division Heads/Direct Superior designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, databases, and data warehouses. [Data Engineering]
• Assist Direct Superior to setup data management process or amend data policy. [Process]
• Learn and Support IT Infrastructure and work along with team member to improve
• IT internal data warehouse for IT business decision-making.  

Report

• Initiate to share the progress to direct superior whenever face the challenges or require assistant with the target deadline. 
• Share task progress, challenges or opinion during IT weekly meeting. 

Learning 

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data analysis, statistics, and IT programming. 

Others

• Other duties and task given by Management from time to time.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Add advantage Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (Data Analytics Professional Certificate).
• Preferable at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply. 
• Preferable with programming language (.net) or interest in programming. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights.
• Communication speak and write effectively in English. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willing to share own opinion or questions. 
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Preferable with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Words. 
• Add advantage with experiences in electrical industry.

Responsible for providing end users support such as troubleshooting PC/Notebook, configuring software, troubleshooting applications software, asset management including deployment and refreshment, installing and configuring phones/tablets, printers, local area networks, wide area networks, any piece of computer related peripheral or software that end user would be using. IT engineer has to perform their daily tasks by providing a high level of customer service to the end user.

Job Descriptions:

• General
• Provide level 1 support (assistance through phone calls, remote sessions, email, and ticketing tools)
• Provide level 2 users support (onsite support by attending to end user) on the following: o Troubleshooting network operating system, software and hardware o Being familiar with network operating system, software and hardware o Working within a ticketing system and creating documentation for new processes o Training staff to maximize the potential of existing technology o Taking new users through the orientation process o Providing individual support and training upon request o Providing recommendations about support and information access o Maintaining an updated inventory of software, hardware and resources o Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking o Able to work independently and in a team environment o Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with outside vendors and internal staff.
• Performing any other IT-related duties assigned.
• Performing after-hour on-call work when necessary.
• Support remote users' problems from Branches where necessary (including BCP sites).
• Prepare log tickets on any user's request attended and close the ticket upon the issue is resolved.
• Prepare a resolution after each log ticket has been done.
• Documenting case studies and relevant IT processes and procedures, and adding to the knowledge base of the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology
• Preferably at least 1 year of related working experience.
• Preferably specializing in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English, and Malay (Mandarin and Chinese are a plus) language for both spoken and written.
