GENERAL OVERVIEW

The incumbent will be responsible for the close monitoring and optimization of Portfolio profitability at SLNG, dashboarding and process improvement to increase productivity within the throughput team, and supporting the budgeting process. This includes reviewing and optimizing SLNG’s on-site Gas Engine Generators and/or other assets to maximize revenue, forecasting energy price movements to craft viable strategies to maximize SLNG’s profitability, as well as tracking of profitability across SLNG’s portfolio. Detailed role responsibilities are described below.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

Budgeting and forecasting

• Forecast and explain Singapore’s Energy price movements.
• Revenue expected from SLNG’s on-site Gas Engine Generators (GEGs) and/or other generation units,
• Accurately track and report SLNG’s Throughput Revenue. Explain and reconcile differences between actual and budgeted throughput demand and revenue.
• Develop reliable processes for forecasting system demand and supply by incorporating public information and market intelligence.

Dashboarding and process improvement

• Increase team efficiency across Throughput Business Group through active process improvement and automation projects.
• Create, maintain, and update automation tools and dashboards to track, analyse and report movements in LNG and Energy Markets while reducing human error.
• Analyse and suggest infrastructural upgrades where required to achieve productivity gains.

Portfolio Strategy and Optimization

• Optimizing the use of Fuel allocated from downstream customers for the dispatch of SLNG’s GEGs and/or other generation assets.
• Co-ordinate with various teams within Throughput Business Group to optimize the Annual Delivery Programme (ADP) for the SLNG terminal in accordance with the Terminal Use Agreements with the customers of the terminal and operating procedures, and in a manner that secures maximum commercial value to ship scheduling among customers and SLNG across various services.
• Monitor and evaluate regulatory changes in the gas and power markets – including key milestones and targets set by the Authority (e.g. solar, power imports, etc.), and its impact to SLNG.
• Provide constructive feedback on proposed regulatory changes and consultation papers issued by EMC and/or EMA to support growth in the gas and power market.
• Run existing models to provide valuable inputs in the determination of key parameters to be used for Throughput Operations on a year-ahead basis.

GEG Commercial Operations

• Co-ordinating with Operations team on planned generation outages to minimize impact to SLNG’s overall profitability.
• Prepare GEG’s efficiency reports for EMA and self-reports for Market Surveillance and Compliance Panel.
• Assist with bidding of generation assets into the NEMS in accordance to the relevant market rules where required.

Other Responsibilities

• The incumbent shall support all other processes and procedures and perform any other duties including reporting to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. regulator and customers, etc), and participate in any other projects as assigned by reporting manager or his delegated authority.

WORK EXPERIENCES

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, experience in the energy industry will be considered favourably.
• Good understanding of LNG terminal operations, terminal use agreements and nominations and scheduling activities under such agreements will be an asset.
• Preferably possesses a good understanding of Singapore’s Gas Network Code and the natural gas operations in Singapore.

• Play a key role in overseeing and guiding country finance teams within the region on all Finance-related initiatives driven from HQ level.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget and periodic forecast exercises.
• Manage and oversee the cash flow forecasts and projections to effectively manage cash balances.
• Develop financial policies and procedures in compliance with group level requirements and local GAAP Lead crucial projects in revenue recognition, process improvement, system implementation and other group level initiatives while managing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Seek excellence and continuous improvement through reviewing current business models, identify potential finance and tax risks and proposing feasible solutions to the management.
• Assist business through providing data, insights and analytics to support the team in making the right data driven decisions

Job Requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience working in/with the Asia markets including but not limited to Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience desired but not a must.
• Strong team player with experience in leading, developing and growing teams.
• Passionate in the finance space and loves to challenge the status quo.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment while delivering desired results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Recognition via SAP

• To manage the end-to-end process of revenue recognition via SAP platform
• This includes identifying contracts, identifying performance obligations, check revenue share due to external stakeholders, and input/check costs allocation.
• To pick out and resolve billing/credit note issues that arises to ensure revenue recognition can be conducted on a timely basis.

Reports Generation

• Generate monthly and yearly revenue reports after monthly/yearly closing.
• Manage invoicing and payment process including generating reports and reporting revenue share to external stakeholders.
• Data-churning for revenue analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree in Finance and/or Accounting or a relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of related experience in Operations and Finance.
• Previous experience in SAP an added advantage.

Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate current and emerging tools and best practices for tracking advanced persistent threats, and tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of attacker’s motivations, industry and attacker trends.
• Perform strategic, operational, and tactical research and all-source analysis tailored to the client’s vertical, geographic footprint, and network mapping to produce timely and tailored intelligence.
• Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, their methodologies, and motivations. Convey tailored findings, verbally and/or in writing, to a variety of audiences.
• Engage clients from C-Suite to security operation centers (SOCs) regularly to comprehensively identify and action their evolving intelligence needs and requests for information.
• Operate independently and proactively in support of the client’s needs engaging Mandiant colleagues and clients to consistently connect Mandiant’s value with client requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of experience in a cyber threat intelligence role in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience managing executive stakeholders and navigating in a global company (e.g. presenting to internal audiences including executives).
• Experience operationalizing Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) methodologies and applications.
• Experience managing and executing variable term projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience evaluating host and network forensic reports of electronic media, packet capture, log data analysis, malware triage, and network devices in support of information security operations.
• Experience analyzing raw data points from technical security controls, to include web proxy, firewalls, IPS, IDS, mail content scanning appliances, enterprise antivirus solutions, network analyzers, etc.
• Experience processing and analyzing tactical CTI within an operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Ability to correlate raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagements, and other sources into reports and briefings.
• Ability to take complex, ambiguous topics, build strategy, and influence stakeholders.
