Founded by Program Director Min Lee in 2009, Wolfgang Violin is named as a tribute to the world's most iconic and revered violin prodigy, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Conceived with the aim of redefining how classical music is taught to young minds, the lessons are specially designed to provide students with a holistic music education. With an aim to inspire a life-long love of music from 3 years of age, we are an established music academy in Singapore that focuses on Violin, Piano, and Cello.
Responsibilities
We are looking for dedicated Pianists interested to join our teaching team and embark on an exciting journey to nurture the next generation of musicians. Successful applicants will work closely with the Head of Piano Department to deliver the Piano programs across all levels effectively for students in both individual and group classes.
* Inspire, and guide students towards graded exams and building their knowledge in practical, aural and theoretical skills
* Contribute to the Piano academic resources
* Support the Strings faculty in piano accompaniment and concerts
* Upkeep of library and studio resources
* Active participation is expected in weekly teacher meetings and student progress reports
Qualifications/Requirements
* Senior Teachers to teach advanced students up to Diploma: minimum three years of teaching experience
* Junior Teachers to teach beginner students from three years of age: minimum two years of teaching experience
* Highly-motivated with a passion to teach and inspire children to learn
* Have a cheerful and approachable demeanor towards children and parents
* Good communication skills and fluent in English
* Bachelor or Master's degree in Music
* Knowledge of the ABRSM Exam and Trinity Guildhall syllabus
