Wastech is an engineering firm specializing in designing, building, consultations, management and trading of irrigation equipment, agricultural water solutions and state of the art greenhouse technology.
Meeting the specialized needs of irrigation systems for agriculture and landscape has been a special challenge for the firm. Successful completion of numerous agricultural projects, greenhouse complexes, theme parks and golf course projects has been aided by the appropriate use of sprinkler, drip systems and the latest irrigation and fertigation techniques.
Our diverse client list includes agribusiness managers, landscape architects, government agencies, golf course and theme park developers, engineers, planners, building contractors, municipalities, universities and highway authorities. Wastech has also undertaken projects in various regions including Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Pakistan, Taiwan, Macau and China.
We are also very active in maintenance works for some of our completed projects. Our company focuses on piping, electrical, civil and structural work. We have a group of supervisors and workers under our employment now including a CAD operator.

-Certificate/Diploma/Degree in mechanical/technical/business or marketing
2 or more years’ experience in sales or mechanical field
-Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be added advantage

-Detail-oriented, meticulous, responsible and able to communicate well
-Proactive and self-driven individual with strong organization and multitasking skills

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the MD to join our dynamic team based in JB/ Singapore.
This role requires a blend of sales, business development, marketing skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Job Description:
1) Responsible for overall sales & marketing activities; including conducting technical presentation & bidding for tenders in the Environmental industry.
2) Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plan to the potential clients of the company's environmental products & services.
3) Provide technical expertise for tenders and sustain a strong relationship with existing clients and tap into existing clients’ opportunities.
4) Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
5) Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives and execute monthly business plans.
6) Facilitate customer visits and engagement activities. Improve product marketability and profitability by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
7) Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales and marketing activities, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Chemistry, or Business Administrative or equivalent; MBA preferred.
2) Preferably with more than 5 years sales-related work in environmental related projects or chemical sales (example waste management & waste-water treatment, renewable energy, waste recycling business and etc.)
3) Demonstrated capability to conduct technical sales and marketing to clients and understanding of market trends, regulations, and competitors.
4) Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated and self-driven. Proficient in negotiation, analysis, and problem-solving.
5) Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies.
6) Strong business mind and financial literacy and willing to travel.

Responsibilities.
Prepare quotation upon receiving RFQ from customer’s base on the minimum order quantity (MOQ) and annually quantity (EAU).
Attend discussion with CPM group which include Costing & Product Development team for Technical query (TQ) preparation upon receiving 3D drawing from customer.
Prepare special report on the quotation for customer if requested.
Notify Product Development, Costing or Sourcing Section if price code higher compare to the first quotation submission.
Liaising with customers and follow-up on the submission quotation.
To confirm TQ with customers once award from customers.
Create official code such as internal coding, price maintenance in system (SAP).
To coordinate for FA meeting with all internal various department i.e. Production, Purchasing including Sourcing, QA, Costing, PD & others upon received the confirm award from customers.
To brief on the update on the TQ has raise before to the entire group.
Log-in drawing after internal drawing completed by Process department. Submission of TQ updates data from customer to internal department if any.
Follow-up to ensure part is ship out accordingly to the date line.
Follow the Company’s environmental policy and procedures and comply with any environmental related legal or regulatory requirement.
