This is an exciting opportunity for Collection and Delivery Driver to join the UK’s leading Accident and Collision Repair specialists in our busy site in Lakeside.
As part of a team of professional drivers you are a critical to the smooth running of the operation. The Drivers job is to collect customers vehicles and deliver them to the Bodyshop for repair. Once repaired your job is to then deliver them back to the customer. Customers trust us, so you will always be professional, providing a first-class service every time. It is also important that you drive vehicles in a safe and lawful manner, considering weather and traffic conditions. Not only do you need to collect, valet and deliver vehicles, but you also need to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed, collect payments and receipts, report accidents/incidents and comply fully with health and safety legislation.
About You
As a Collection and Delivery Driver we would like you to have an interest and passion in what we do. With a professional appearance we would also appreciate it if you have previous experience in a customer facing role and experience in a driving role. You must have excellent knowledge of the roads in your area and be highly motivated. Naturally, due to the nature of the job you will need to have a full UK/EU Driving Licence. The role
As a Delivery and Collection Driver, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. In this role you will play a pivotal part in supporting the London Fire Brigade (LFB) keeping our country safe.

Day to day, you'll provide a reliable, efficient, and courteous collection and delivery service on behalf of our customer. Collecting and delivering appliances, operational equipment, and consumable items on behalf of the London Fire Brigade. The role will include movement of all types of vehicles utilised by the LFB, to and from various locations within the LFB operating centres at approximately 102 locations and all LFB related Babcock Sites.

• Provide a prompt, professional and efficient collection and delivery service that delivers customer satisfaction in line with company targets and standards
• Ensure vehicles are collected and delivered on time and presented to a standard acceptable to the customer
• Complete all paperwork and processes accurately and thoroughly in line with Company requirement.
• Attend and participate in such training courses as deemed necessary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Ruislip, requiring 40 hours per week.

Typical work schedule:

• Tuesday - Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation: 1 in every 5 weeks (7 days)

On-call details:

• Hours: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM, followed by overnight on-call status
• Compensation: £32.08 on-call shift allowance per day, plus overtime pay for hours exceeding the contract.

Essential experience of the Delivery and Collection Driver:

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the Road Traffic Act
• Good knowledge of Greater London postcode areas
• Previous collection and delivery experience

Qualifications for the Delivery and Collection Driver:

• Category C / Class 2- licence
• Driver CPC

Driver & Sales Assistant, Bath

The Role

Their decorator centre in Bath is looking for a new Driver/Sales Assistant. Providing excellent, friendly service to professional decorators, contractors and DIY enthusiasts, you'll use your knowledge of the local area to carry out deliveries to homes and businesses. You'll build relationships with customers and from time to time you'll also be asked to help support the team in store, serving customers, merchandising displays and giving expert advice on products.
