The Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Design Engineer will support the engineering design of projects by developing the C&I design and producing C&I design strategies and documentation. The global project team portfolio is a circa £100m/yr consisting of several projects to grow, improve and replace old assets.

The C&I Engineer will undertake control and instrumentation design and propose /review strategies for new or replacement capital projects from early concept and feasibility through to commissioning. This role may act as a consultant across several projects at different sites. They will support projects with other engineering disciplines, project managers and construction engineers providing appropriate guidance and direction, to ensure that relevant C&I Engineering standards are understood, interpreted and adhered to as part of the project.

The Control and Instrumentation Design Engineer will provide engineering support to the project delivery team, by ensuring decisions are made on risk ensuring engineering standards are maintained at a cost the business can afford. They will provide front end engineering concepts and optionality that consider both the initial outlay as well as the life cycle cost of the asset into the design and proposal ensuring always that value for money has been achieved.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.  This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. 1. He/she shall be assisting the QC Technician / Operation Executive in implementing all required inspection tasks undertaken by the quality control department. He/she shall report and reject all irregularities or non-conformance prescribed specifications and quality standards as specified to the QC Technician / Operation Executive.

2. He/she shall assist the QC Technician / Operation Executive in ensuring that all the products received from the suppliers according to data sheets, and document results are properly and adequately inspected and to provide to the suppliers with regular quality information. He/she shall assist the QC Technician / Operation Executive in conducting quality criteria inspection of all new products.

3. He/she shall make recommendations to the QC Technician / Operation Executive if there is any dispute to the quality control and assurance standards implemented. He/she shall assist the QC Technician / Operation Executive periodically in evaluating and reviewing the quality control and assurance standards to ensure utmost appropriateness and compatibility to national/industrial standards.

4. He/she shall handle and inspect the daily in-coming goods and tally against ACEZ P.O. and Supplier D.O./invoice to comply with specification requirements. He/she shall comply with QC-sampling inspection technique for those which received in quantities more than 50 in numbers.

5. He shall do accurate transfer of items from one warehouse to another in ERP accordingly and assign serial number in ERP, if necessary.

6. He shall carry out basic product demonstration to walk-in customer if necessary.

7. He/she shall inform to purchaser/sales PIC if any immediate discrepancies found in respective in-coming shipment.

8. He/she shall raise a non-conformance report / GRR to the respective goods, which are having discrepancy and not compliance with specifications/ requirements.

9. He/she shall program the transmitters, controllers and indicators with respect to the customer requirements and outgoing delivery order requirements.

10. He/she shall perform detailed Q.C. Inspection on ACEZ assembled products with respect to the outgoing inspection procedure and criteria.

11. He/she shall raise a GRR and assist to evaluate the customer returned / rejected goods / repair & service items.

12. He/she shall issue the certificate of compliance to the goods as per delivery order requirements.

13. He/she shall carryout the in-house calibration for listed QC instruments and updates master records, also periodic maintenance to the QC tools and instruments.

14. He/she shall ensure that a high standard of Quality Control procedures/ISO 9001 documentation are measured, implemented and maintained for the image of the company.

15. He/she shall assist the QC Technician / Operation Executive in the preparation of the quality control reports.

16. He/she is to perform work related duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
