We seek a Media & Design intern to support the firm’s business and marketing communications activities.

With Starlight, you contribute to the overall visual identity and marketing efforts of a company, gaining valuable experience in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

Media & Design Development

Creating and Designing Materials: Interns are tasked with designing both print and digital materials, ensuring they align with brand guidelines.

Assisting in Digital Marketing: Collaborate on the design of digital marketing materials, encompassing both print and digital advertising.

Graphic Communications: Utilising and enhancing graphic elements such as photos, logos, and themes for use in marketing communications efforts.

Reviewing Designs: Review designs based on client feedback to ensure effectiveness and alignment with brand standards. Additionally, they may review new product designs.

Visual Content Creation: Responsibilities often include assisting team members in creating visual content for billboards, social media, and websites.

Implementation of Creativity: Creativity in designing and implementing posters and banners for social media promotion.

Assist in other adhoc areas where necessary for the firm's requirements.

Key Requirements:

· Currently pursuing a degree or have completed one.

· Curious and enthusiastic with a sense of wonder and discovery.

· Good communication, written, and presentation skills.

· Organised and meticulous in planning and details.

The Opportunity

The Communications Design Executive/Media Executive reports into the Communications Design Director and is responsible for developing and managing media plans, and liaison with teams for campaign management, reporting and finance.

• Manage media plans using performance digital marketing channels such as Search, Social and Programmatic
• Works collaboratively with colleagues and (where appropriate) local markets across agencies to meet client service needs
• Coordinates activity ensuring projects and plans deliver against objectives and on time/budget
• Supports the manager and wider team with general client liaison and administration
• Maintains trackers, reports and finance for the client enabling better work flows

Ideally

• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholder
• Analytically minded with strong reporting skills
• Understanding the digital landscape and keeping up to date with trends and technology
• Team player combined with the ability to have fun!
• Experience in Media Agencies will be advantageous
