About The Role

Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to work on our contract with Welsh Water in North Wales.
As Team Leader you will be part of our Capital Team. This team are responsible for providing and delivering operational capability in site investigation work on the clean water network.
Maintain and encourage a positive health and safety culture. Ensure that all plant is operated safely and serviced to schedule and calibrated in a timely manner, mitigating risks to health and safety. Ensure all areas of operational delivery meet Morrison Water Services, the client and customer requirements inclusive of Hygiene, Quality and Customer satisfaction. Support with all allocated work. Ensuring all work is effectively managed so that delivery meets the client and customer requirements. And are delivered within relevant regulatory and client asset standards (SLA).
Ensure the planning team and supervisors have all the relevant information. Job details, plant, equipment and materials to complete the job close down procedure and for it to be invoiced. Carry out all on site risk assessments.Undertake regular checks on vehicles, trailers, fittings and plant to ensure good housekeeping is carried out and they are safe to use and operate.
Do you have a full UK driving licence? This will be essential for this role.
Are you experienced in operations and delivery within the Clean Water Utilities Sector, with a working knowledge of pressurised pipelines, safe dig techniques, trial hole investigations, under pressure installation, cut outs, hygiene practices and street works safety?
Do you have a proven track record in the installation and repair of mains and fittings on a clean water network?
You will need to be Street works qualified (NRSWA card 1 to 6 and 9), with SHEA Water card, Asbestos awareness, towing capability, CPCS below 10t, and First Aid.
Can you communicate at all levels?
Are you able to work within health and safety legislation?
Additional Information

- You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
- You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.

About The Role
Our EV business is recruiting for a Regional Project(s) Manager to work on our Commercial EV contracts across the UK.
Role Outline:
The Regional Projects Manager is responsible for ensuring all operational functions are undertaken in accordance with the Morrison Energy Services Limited policies and procedures and requirements for any contracts that the role is responsible for. This role will include the direct management of a team consisting of the following roles –Technical Manager(s), Construction Manager(s) and the Back Office Administrators. These roles could be either site or office based.
As the Regional Project(s) Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- To provide operational support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management and governance
- To manage all activities associated with EV infrastructure projects including Independent Connections Provider (ICP) activities in line with our NERS accreditation
- To monitor and manage the performance of MES direct staff, agency staff and subcontractors with respect to the required standards of Health and Safety, Quality and the Environment
- To be an affective negotiator internally and externally at levels up to Senior Manager level
- To provide operational support in the procurement of all sub-contractors, suppliers
- To ensure the timely production and document control of all as built and progress records for any contracts that the role is responsible for
- Be the face of Morrison Energy Services Limited for all client and contractor operational issues
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team members, and foster a positive team culture
- Ensure instructed projects are tracked and managed against key milestones through to completion to facilitate accurate forecasting of work and resources
- To plan, recruit and co-ordinate all operational resources for current and future works
- To ensure all Morrison Energy Services Limited and client processes are followed to minimise WIP (outstanding cash) and keep WIP within the contract and business targets
- Engage in the monthly cost and value reconciliations
- Maximise revenue and profit from the EV infrastructure projects through identifying opportunities for cost savings and/or additional chargeable activities
- Ensure that timely actions are taken to protect MES contractually / commercially for any delays in agreed programmes
- Build and maintain constructive and open relationships with clients and stakeholders in line with the MGS core value of ‘delivering what we promise’

Skills and Qualifications Requirements for the Regional Project(s) Manager role:

- Industry Knowledge – a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering, construction / project management or other construction / electrical related subject
- Project Management – capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Contract – skills in managing the timely identification & resolution of compensation events on projects
- Commercial – Skills in inputting into monthly Cost & Value Reconciliations
- Risk Management – skills in managing risks
- Communication skills: has excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and clients
- Relationship Building – has the ability to listen to stakeholder needs, being responsive to their concerns, and providing exceptional service

Skills and Qualifications Requirements for the Regional Project(s) Manager role:

- Operations Management – minimum of five years’ experience in operations management in the electrical distribution industry

Morrison Water Services part of the M Group Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. As a division, we employ circa 3000 people across the UK and we are looking for aspiring people like you, who are keen to continue their career within the Water Industry.
Morrison Water Services are recruiting for a Site Manager to work on our Enhanced Metering contract in the Northwest Region.
As the Site Manager you will be part of our Operations Team. Who are responsible for the installation of Enhanced Meters for Morrison Water Services on the United Utilities Contract. You will be site based with travel across the Northwest.
As the Site Manager your responsibilities will include:

- Lead and manage site teams Report to the Operations manager – Set targets for day/week that are clearly understood by the team.
- Plan for contingency / worse case scenarios
- Ensure all sites are compliant with company SHEQ policy and procedure and drive a strong Health & Safety and quality focus culture.
- Ensure SHEQ documentation is produced timeously, maintained, and briefed to the workforce.
- Co-ordinate resources to ensure delivery of required daily productivity.
- Support SHEQ in toolbox talks, QA memos, liaise with client and highways.
- Responsible to ensure van audits, onsite audits are completed with every team (1 per month)
- Monitor the quality performance of works (clegg testing) and adherence to Customer and HAUC Specifications.
- Subject matter expert for any onsite technical issues.
- Supervision of onsite operational teams to avoid FPNs or S74 fines.
- Coordinate all Highway activities with local authorities and back-office staff ensuring appropriate Notices and traffic management are in place.
- Ensure Operatives are trained and competent and qualifications kept up to date.
- Carry out Site Inductions / Team Meetings (Standdowns)
- Maintain productivity trackers and site statistics.
- Coordination of procurement with supply chain
- Ensure a positive approach to dealing with members of the public.
