Roles and responsibilities
The Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. He/She manages the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites. He/She must have good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to meet project schedule.
- Lead team to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.
- Manage operational costs to keep costs within the budget.
- Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
- To develop new, site-specific and technical solutions.
- Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.-~ Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
- Familiar with performance targets and responsible for achieving and completing all performance targets to meet completion schedule in terms of costs, performance, time and quality.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with Construction team, technical and commercial team at headquarters in Germany and the client.
Qualification
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
Requirements
- Min 8 to 10 years of experience in similar capacity with extensive knowledge in steel, glass and building envelopes.
- Must have the competency to manage and lead project team.
- Solid financial know-how, craftsmanship and a strong awareness of costs.
- Experience in the field of technical building services would be an advantage.
- Security clearance according to the guidelines Ü2 of the German Foreign Office.
- Able to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills.
- Very good German language skills (level C1) required.
- Salary to commensurate with experience and qualifications.
