We are seeking a dynamic and driven Project Sales Manager to engage end-user, and EPCs across Asia Pacific region, with a higher focus in FPSO. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with partners, customers, and project teams to drive engagement, understand project requirements, and initiate pursuit strategies.
Job Description
- Lead and manage major Asia Pacific projects for Pressure Management.
- Collaborate with other Business Unit to develop and expand the sales and engineering excellence for pressure relief management.
- Engage early in the project lifecycle to influence stakeholders (End users, Licensors, Project Management Team, and EPCs) to position the organization as the supplier of choice.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand project dynamics for pressure relief measurement team, develop and own the strategy from FEED to winning the project.
- Organize customer meetings and events to promote messages such as cost ownership and optimization.
- Collaborate with other Business Unit to incorporate pressure relief measurement as an integral part of the total value messages.
- Coordinate with respective sales offices for export projects through regular sales cadence calls, ensuring strategic positioning for success.
- Understand the sales and distribution activities for the region and develop strategies to support the cross functional team.
- Bring market trends and organizational needs to the management's attention for alignment.
- Engage with the project management team early in the pursuit process to leverage their expertise and identify and mitigate risks.
- Plan and initiate programs for strategic relationships with EPCs, aiming for exclusive agreements.
- Drive initiatives for process improvements that enhance the organization's knowledge, skills, and responsiveness.
- Improve participation and overall win rates, with a focus on premium projects.
- Take ownership of FPSO projects in Singapore, including project planning, customer interactions, and reporting to the Singapore Sales Manager.
- Plan and review annual project targets, sharing lessons learned to facilitate continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical
More than 7 years of experience in pressure management solutions, e.g. Tanks, Steam, LNG, and Safety
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring and coaching of sales engineers.
Understanding of industry applications will be an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of Valves products and experience with Pressure Relief Valves preferred.
