Job Responsibilities:

• Spearhead R&D initiative for sustainable materials in 3D printing, overseeing material performance testing and refining process optimization.
• Research on 3D printing processes for new materials based on metallurgical properties of materials.
• Qualify new materials for 3D printing, focusing on sustainability.
• Design 3D printable prototypes and new products for R&D purpose in diverse applications, e.g. portable devices, medical devices.
• Tackle technical challenges within 3D printing processes, encompassing equipment maintenance, and implementing enhancements for optimal performance.
• Transfer 3DP technology from research to production, including pre- and post-processing operations.
• Develop know-how and IPs in 3D printing related subjects.
• Lead collaboration projects with research partners and internal team.

Job Requirements:

• At least PhD / Masters/ Bachelor in engirneer.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles.
• In-depth knowledge of materials science and additive manufacturing processes.
• 2-3 years of working experience in additive manufacturing industry, particularly metal e.g. titanium, SUS, aluminium.
• Expertise in various 3D printing technologies, laser powder bed fusion preferred.
• Familiarity with metal materials utilized in additive manufacturing.
• Experience in setting up of new 3D printing lab preferred.
