We are looking for a cook specialising in Vietnamese Cuisine. The cook’s responsibilities include following instructions relating to the timely preparation of food orders, organising food store for operation, and area cleanliness.
Cook Duties and Responsibilities
· Setting up, cleaning, and organising food store for day operations.
· Preparing ingredients and premix for the day; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
· Preparing equipment, utensils, and grill for the day.
· Prepare and cook the food as per customers' order.
· Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
· Able to Handle multiple food orders at one time
· Storing all food properly
· Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
· Reordering stock and food supplies when needed
Cook Requirements and Qualifications
· Able to cook quality Vietnamese Cuisine. Previous experience as a cook, or relevant work experience may be considered.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
· Self-motivated and self-directed.
· Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders.
· Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends.
· Must pass a tasting test
· Able to speak and wirte Chinese and English and speaking of Vietnamese is a plus.
