**Job Title: Account Assistant**

**Responsibilities:**

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Account and HR Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will encompass handling the accounting and HR needs of various related companies within our group.

Job scope:

• Handle daily accounting data entry and book keeping.
• Responsible for the daily sales, debtor reconciliations, bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliation, GST preparation and submission, cashflow projection and processing of payment documents.
• Preparation of invoices and follow up with client on payment of invoices
• Preparation of monthly billing statement for division head input and consolidate these inputs for billing
• Documentations and maintaining financial records
• Verification of all supplier's and vendor's invoices and payment instructions with appropriate documents
• Process payments for expenses in accordance with approved procedures and agreed credit terms.
• Responsible for month-end closing of related companies and year-end closing.
• Preparation of full set of account when required
• Preparing monthly management update
• Preparation of quarterly GST and submission
• Liaising with external accountants for preparation of Annual Report and Audit
• Manage recruitment including but not limited to preparation of JD, posting of job advertisements, arrangement of interviewers, preparation of employment contract and onboarding
• Manage staff leave application and claims
• Application and renewal of work permits

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting / Quantity Surveying or related qualification

• High proficiency in MS Office Applications especially MS Excel.

· Assist in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

· Accounting experience in the Property Development industry would be an advantage

Job Description & Requirements

1. Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and parables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;
2. Prepare monthly financial and management reports;
3. Preparation of quarterly GST Returns
4. Handling sub con account/ Back charges
5. Assist in QS to issue invoices. Follow up on Payments.
6. Assist to prepare bank facilities document when required.
7. Perform Internet banking transactions.
8. Work In progress records.
9. Collection meeting with QS
10. Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards;
11. Support audit and tax queries;
12. Liaise with banks on banking transactions;
13. Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including for inter-company transactions;
14. Other Ad hoc duties assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Accountancy
2. Relevant Construction Trade Experience.
3. Language Requirement - English and Mandarin. In order to liaise with mandarin speaking sub contractors/ suppliers.
