As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.
You’ll have –
Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics)
Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable
Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) trade experience
Experience working on B734, B738, A380, B787 is essential
Experience in fuel entry (desirable)
Completed all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard
Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements
Maintain awareness of customer requirements
Demonstrated ability to work safety and adhering to all safety and compliance procedures
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Qantas Mechanical Maintenance procedures
Highly developed attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
Highly developed attention to detail
Demonstrated high ethical/behaviour standards and self-discipline
Australian Drivers licence
Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
