Job Responsibilities :

• Plan and conduct IT audits in accordance with the approved annual audit plan.
• Assist to develop audit program and prepare audit work documentation as guided by the Internal Audit’s documentation standard to support audit conclusion and results.

Requirements :

• Good command of English with good report writing and communication skills.

Job Descriptions/职位描述： 

• To handle full auditing and accounting assignments.
• Assist junior in preparing audit schedules and audit procedures.
• Prepare draft tax computations and ensure adequate provision of tax liabilities.
• Complete audits on time and submit reports to audit manager.
• Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency.
• Follow up any outstanding issues from clients.
• Liaise with company secretary, tax agents and other authorities to obtain statutory information required during the audit.
• Any other assignments assigned by the audit manager from time to time.

Job Requirements/职位要求：

• At least Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications (eg. ACCA / MIA / CPA).
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in accounting firm/audit field.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Accounting & Audit software.
• Required language(s): Mandarin , English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a portfolio of audit Singapore clients  
• Responding and attending to all technical and clients’ queries
• Preparation of general-purpose financial statements and special-purpose financial statements  
• Ability to lead an audit engagement team
• Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competences
• Organize audit results and highlight points for attention

• Works closely with engagement partner, manager and staff on client management and practice development

Requirements: 
 

• A recognized degree in Accountancy and/or professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA equivalent
• Experience in handling a portfolio of Singapore clients
• Familiarity with Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore (“FRS”), MPERS and MFRS
• Knowledge in Singapore Standards on Auditing (“SSA”) or International Standards on Auditing (“ISA”)
• At least 5 years of related working experiences in an audit firm 
  Strong technical understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, auditing standards, accounting principles and related tax regulations
• Knowledge of Singapore tax is highly advantageous
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Proficient in suite of MS Office applications
• Good oral and written communication skills to work efficiently and effectively across all levels

The job role
Report directly to the Manager of Planning and Reporting. 
Key responsibilities is to assist in management reporting and financial planning, Main task is to provide financial support to the property management team across a portfolio of properties to ensure timely accurate reporting, forecasting and analysis which will contribute to commercial decisions.
As Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for financial reporting and variance analysis, budget planning and control, cashflow administration and reporting to relevant external bodies and authorities.
You will provide support to the finance operations team in the preparation of full set of accounts and monthly accounts closing plus technical support on tax matters
Provide technical support in statutory audit and tax matters.
Responsible for budget and cashflow management.
The person
To be successful in this role, candidate should possess accounting qualification,either a  Bachelor degree or ACCA/CIMA graduate with significant experience in the property business industry. We will accord a high regard if you are a member of MIA.
A significant experience of 3-5 years in a similar financial portfolio role will be looked upon very favourably.
Excellent communication skills (English, BM and Chinese/Mandarin)
Strong in MFRS accounting standards.

Functional Duties

• Responsible in establishing the Audit Work Program and ensure that audit is conducted as per the Audit Work Program across all the AOCs;

• To do audit preparation before the commencement of the Audit, i.e. prepare Audit Notification, Audit Planning Memorandum, document request list, etc.;

• To lead the Audit Team and ensure the Audit is meeting the objectives and completion of the assignment within the allocated resources;

• To compile and ensure the accuracy of fact and completeness of the Audit Report and Audit working paper;

• Assist the Corporate/Station/IT Audit Manager in all matters of internal audit, including planning the scope and procedures for audit engagements;

• To execute any cross function assignment within GIA department; and

• To carry out any tasks and works assigned by Audit Manager and above as and when needed

• Perform preliminary review, including the internal control evaluation, with guidance from the Audit Manager

• Perform Audit assignment in accordance to the professional standards, within the scope and resource allocation limits of the Audit assignment

• Write the draft observation

• Ensure completeness of Audit working paper

• Perform ad-hoc audits on area of concerns as and when required

• Follow working procedures and ensure SOPs compliance
