Responsibilities:
- Assist in the overall management of warehouse operations, collaborating closely with the Warehouse Manager to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and safe startup process.
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of warehouse personnel.
- Effectively communicate organizational goals and objectives to the team.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to chemical warehousing.
- Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor systems/SOPs for the proper handling and storage of chemical products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Ability to navigate challenges associated with a pioneer role patiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
