Hopefield Nursery and Blackburn Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and nurturing Early Years Officer on a permanent basis to lead the nursey team. The successful candidate will work as part of a forward thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and will respond to the individual needs of each child, providing high quality, caring interactions and learning and teaching experiences.
Hopefield Nursery runs 50 weeks of the year, the successful candidate will be expected to work a shift pattern over 7.45am to 6.20pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 12.45pm Fridays.
The post-holder will require to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a practitioner and will be subject to Enhanced Disclosure check.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate.
