What the job does:

Key Responsibility

• Consolidate all market VM calendar, attend regular meetings with global team, marketing, and commercial teams to get campaigns strategies and directions on budget, product launches & promotions.

• Assist SDVM Manager on budgeting and forecasting. Raise Pos, follow up on invoices and control expenditure of any orders placed for individual projects.

Some attributes we are looking for

• Degree holder in art and design discipline with minimum 5 years working hands-on experience gained in the fields of visual merchandising/ retail design industry/ product design/event or pop-up design/ graphic design or a combination of above. Previous work experience in cosmetics industry will be a plus.
• Experience with a range of design packages; preferably with knowledge of Adobe Suite, Sketch up, AutoCad and other design softwares.

Dulwich College (Singapore) is recruiting an Art/Design & Technology Technician to support the Art & DT Departments in managing resources and preparing for lessons to facilitate excellence in teaching and learning at all times starting in August 2024. This is a term-time role.

• Prepare and set up materials and equipment for practical lessons;
• Liaise with the Head of Art & DT and teachers to understand requirements and plan ahead so that resources are prepared and ready;
• Undertake regular stocktakes of materials to ensure resource levels are maintained appropriately and records kept;
• Maintain machinery, including undertaking routine repairs, to ensure it is kept in good working order;
• Along with colleagues in the department, undertake health and safety checks for all machinery, equipment and rooms across the College;
• Communicate with suppliers and the College’s Purchasing Manager with regard to ordering of supplies and resources;
• Organise the storing of resources, materials and equipment and ensure this is kept tidy and ordered;
• Provide support to students during lessons as required;
• Assist with displays of student work;
• All other duties commensurate with the post.

The successful candidate will have:

• A relevant technical qualification (Diploma or Higher Certificate);
• A minimum of one year’s relevant experience, ideally gained in a school environment;
• An understanding of, and interest in, Art and DT equipment and resources, including their use and maintenance;
• Experience of supporting student learning would be an advantage;
• Excellent communications and inter-personal skills and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage own time effectively;
• The ability to work well as part of a team, supporting colleagues in delivering exceptional teaching and providing a safe environment in the Art and DT rooms;
• An adaptable and flexible attitude, and a willingness to use initiative;

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years in similar capacity and working experience in the semiconductor environment
• Dynamic and resourceful person with good analytical, organizational and leadership skills and interpersonal skills
• Prepared to take on challenges, calculated risk and manage changes at all times
