Job Responsibilities

• Attend to reported gas incidents and gas supply abnormalities such as gas fires, poor gas supply pressure, suspected gas leaks, etc.
• Perform site investigations and rectification work inclusive of co-ordination work with the relevant authorities (e.g. SPPG, SCDF, HDB, EMA) and other external agencies and submission of reports.
• Attend to customer service requests, e.g. install/ replace/ trouble-shoot gas appliances, perform servicing of gas stoves, carry out soundness tests on gas installations, etc.
• Handle customers’ enquiries/ feedback and perform service recoveries.
• Investigate and report on matters related to meter readings abnormality.
• Attend to meter cut-off and account due related matters.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor, which may include driving company vehicle to attend to work arrangements.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or any Engineering discipline.
• Relevant work experience and technical knowledge in gas, plumbing, sanitary, or electrical systems will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in contract management and customer service.
• Possess a driving license (class 2 & 3), preferably with access to personal transport.

-Maintain, test and repair a variety of instrumentation and equipment, using measuring and diagnostic software

-To coordinate operations, perform tests and resolve any issues related to calibration.

-To ensure instruments,gauges and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings

-To work closely with electrical apparatuses and knowledge of electricity and circuitry.

-Able to set up laboratory and testing equipment, to work with vendors and ordering the necessary parts for a repair.

-Tasked with planning, design, development, and installation of a new process

- May involve procurement and budgetary responsibility

- Installation of new control processes

- Development of instrumentation testing protocols

- Daily monitoring of sensor outputs and process operation

- Ensuring instrumentation operation complies with quality parameters

- Carrying out routine/planned maintenance

- Troubleshooting any issues or concerns

- Optimisation of processes to improve system efficiency

- Data collection and analysis

- Report writing

-Will be expected to be involve in project at Jurong Island

-Must possess driving licence

-Able to commit to irregular working hrs - 6 am to 2 pm (rotating shifts)

-No weekend off day

-Approved Signatory with SAC- Singlas is a must
